Trump was the President of the United States and didn't need Nancy's permission to call in the guard, just like he didn't go through anyone else when he called them up to DC last year - only uber-dumbs like you believe it was her fault and not the guy who pathologically lied about the election, inflamed his supporters and invited them to the Capitol.
If you can't acknowledge what he did and say it was wrong, keep your mouth shut about any other thing goober.

So in a vacuum I wouldn't disagree with this, but there is no evidence of 40M people being "unhinged" (still not sure where the time period of a decade comes from. Assuming you are going to back to Trump's first days in office). There is absolutely evidence of 10,000 people rioting, and summarily being pardoned.
