My Mentor used to say that the time it took for water to replace the straw you removed from your drink was all it took for people to forget you.Lou holtz
“No use complaining about your problems cause 80% of the people don’t care and the other 20% are happy you have them”
I believe they have this backwards and it was Holtz who dropped that epic line…
Well, Terry Shea may have had something to with it as well. RIP Lou. As others have said, a legend in the game. Growing up it always seemed he was coaching and winning somewhere. Carved out a great career as a speaker too.I went to an RU game at ND in 1996 and heard Coach Holtz speak at the pep rally the evening before the game. We lost the game 62-0 so whatever he said worked.
I agree with Keith on this one. Not a fan of Holtz.Imagine being this angry over someone’s death

Lots of ppl aren't fans but he seems a little too angry over it, but then again he seems angry about a lot of things lately. Dude's triggered often and on the verge of heart attacks dailyI agree with Keith on this one. Not a fan of Holtz.
He also attacked the US mens hockey team. Kinda immature for him to do this, isn't it? He is an ***.I agree with Keith on this one. Not a fan of Holtz.
His waning bit of relevance is all based around being angry online about the topic of the week. He will continue to fade into obscurityKeith Olbermann is a bitter, angry, hateful POS and that’s putting it nicely. The guy has zero class. He needs mental help desperately.

Interesting that you left all the Olbermann stuff which started the political crap in the first place. I think that qualifies as trash.Okay, took the trash out, let's get this thread back on track.
I was living in Houston when he was with Arkansas, had a guy worked with at the local country club who was a huge Razorbacks. Heard more than I wanted to about that team and program.
RIP.
And you add to the trash. Way to go. BravoInteresting that you left all the Olbermann stuff which started the political crap in the first place. I think that qualifies as trash.

I was with FannieMae and got invited to a BOA event one year. Lou was the guest speaker and at that time I wasn't a LH fan at all. It changed in about 2 minutes in. At the end he was promoting his latest book. At the end he said "I've written more books than I've read" I think he was on his 3rd or 4th book! Lol. A great motivator, a hilarious guy. I don't know what BOA paid him but they got a bargain!Okay, took the trash out, let's get this thread back on track.
