and quit "stealing" millions from USC. It's the proper thing to do. He'll never make it here.

Followed by Maineiri. Whole lot of season left but if we end up an SEC cellar team again, it should be pretty obvious the game has passed him by. He'll be allowed time to build a program but so far it's been unimpressive.

Would you quit a $4million a year job? It is obvious losing doesn't bother him. He probably thinks if SC is stupid enough to keep paying him for the results he bringing, they must be satisfied with the job he is doing, so why not keep taking the money.
And why would you quit when you may be on the brink of getting fired and a getting bunch of money to do nothing?

How is it stealing when he has it because USC (Board and AD ) was stupid enough to just give it to him, after one good season or one season of doing what he actually was being paid to do.

Everyone listened to a guy that hired Will Muschamp, how silly and stupid can you be in retrospec.

I predict our current AD is going to make a change with Paris, I just can't see any real reason to retain him based upon job performance.

Maybe if he determines its bad for his career, he'd be willing to walk. Even with the money, I don't see how you walk around the building and look your co-workers in the eye knowing the only reason you're still in the building is b/c of your buyout.

Doesn’t sound like the odds are favoring that but you never know

I'm pretty sure his career has peaked, he has to know that. He is in way over his head (a common thing among SC head coaches) and he knows it, so does everyone else. He knows he is never getting another D1 basketball head coaching job, so his "career" is pretty much over.

Unless he is the worst money manager ever, he is set for life financially whether he is fired or not.
