He should have just shot it near that three point line. Not sure why he kept going.
Yeah and sweeping the LA road trip is a rare thing. Hardly anyone in the PAC did it either.
But losing is one thing - playing like crap is another. Huskers gotta come to play in the 2nd half.
Teams are guarding him more closely. Even getting double teamed.
Turns out when you can't make 3's, free throws or layups, it's tough to beat anyone with a pulse.
Yeah NU guards left six points at the FT line this half when there was still time to close the gap. Brutal.
Our guys didn’t show up for this game. Let’s hope Fred lights them up for the final home game. I’d hate to lose to those cockroaches in piss *** yellow.
Yeah I don’t mind a loss here, but this game really wasn’t competitive. NU needs to realize everybody’s going to overplay the perimeter and quit being so soft.
I even said in another thread I thought we’d get tripped up in this game. So I’m not really shocked at the loss. But it’s how badly we played is what’s annoying. It’s like the guys just mailed it in tonight. Total lack of any effort. We were bad on all fronts .
Frager killed us tonight. I don't know how we're this many games into the season and the guy still dribbles the ball mindlessly into the paint only to get trapped with no backup plan. We had a shot to get back into it in the second half and Frager went hero ball driving the ball and turning it over while missing a wide open Sandfort on the wing. Can't miss opportunities like that when teams are selling out to stop #21.
We also shot like dog**** from 3, from the free throw line, and at the rim. So many missed layups the last few weeks. There will be games like this in basketball so hopefully we just got all of our bad ones out of the way.
