Everything is relative to price and available spots, so if you told me he was coming back to be a 10 MPG point guard behind West, a pure backup, after we brought in a really legit star shooting guard who is a purely off ball guy I’d say “okay, I guess,” but the level of quality at the guard position overall needs to go way way up for the Cats and I just don’t see Reid having the tools to stick at this level of play

On NU’s past tournament teams he would have been a pretty valuable piece imo.

Another year in the weight room for Tre. He’s going to be a very good defender. Page is starting to click defensively. That would be the hope and everyone gets another year in the weight room and in the system.

He’s pretty good on the perimeter. Struggles as the low man due to his height. Page becoming a better defender would help mitigate this as he can help and cover more when the double comes.

I think if he can figure out how to finish around the rim a bit better (tall task given his height) his offensive game would explode.

A year can make a huge difference- page, tre, gelo could blossom next year. And we have another 4* forward and a huge big coming in plus bennerman and likely one transfer. Could really be interesting. Even Wyndham could improve and be a factor.

I will admit it is indeed ironic that even a kinda-sorta competent piece who could have spelled Boo for literally like 4 minutes a game and maybe spelled Berry for another 4 minutes a game would have been super useful

If he improves to be a threat from three, it would likely help open the way to the basket and would probably improve his at the rim performance as well.
