Swearing off all politics activity (tbf, the energy is pretty much just culture war) on the board from this day forward. Only FB related stuff from here on out. Unfortunately, folks are very down in the mouth about football stuff, and it's kind of a drag to post and have a bunch of we suck, only 4 wins replies.
Lot of stuff going on and there are strong opinions. Usually these topics peter out, but certainly not this go around. I've learned all I need to there and the team is actually practicing now. We are not getting a lot of info, but then again, many of us are on record as being tired of winning the offseason. But there are both new and old players to discuss.
We also are having the best season in school history with our basketball team to discuss.
Fred got some shooters and his son is one of the better glue guy players that I've see. The team has a very high BB IQ.
Seems like few want to talk basketball outside of gameday. And the OP even says "this is board is reserved for Nebraska football and having good lines that product points and tackles."
Looks like NU projects as a 3 seed. Should get that first tourney win (whacks wood with a sledge hammer). Fred has a good group. No glaring holes in the roster and the kids have a high BB IQ.

perhaps, but when we start assuming other's intent, that's when things get misconstrued and more.
It's a pretty long season and dead legs can set in. He had the flu and didn't play against Michigan. The thing about flu viruses is that sometimes they can really knock a person down. Sometimes teams limp into the post season and then make an early exit simply because their once stellar play has gone dormant. And in the power leagues, every team makes you work for the win. And every good team gets the lesser team's best shot.
Be a part of the change. If we all start a football post it will push politics to page 2.
