He doesn’t foul or travel …. The only game when he did both was at UNC ( read the only game where Duke didn’t get a more than favorable whistle ).

The ACC-SEC challenge was won 9-7 this year by the SEC, for what it’s worth.

Any Duke fan on this board or in this state has to be a bandwagon fan. They are one of if not the most hated teams and have been the last 30 years. They have the media and the refs in their pockets. They are supposed to be an academic school too, but from the looks of some of the players that have come through it looks like they have lowered that bar. Never could stand coach Krybaby either, now they have a choirboy for a coach because K didn’t want Tommy Amaker as the coach. If that had happened anywhere else there would have been a media firestorm.
Boozer is awesome but does get the calls. I think it will be enough to get Duke to Indianapolis. Question is, can they close this year? Their Houston choke job last year is still hard to fathom.
Well unfortunately it looks like they knew what they were doing. We could learn a thing or two from choir boy. Things such as roster construction, chemistry, effort, program management and defense.
I’d take Boozer over Peterson. Probably Dybantsa too in the college game. NBA I’d go Dybantsa, Boozer, Peterson. Peterson scares me with his nonchalant attitude towards ball.
Their guards melted down vs Houston’s alpha guards. I think guard play has cost Duke in their last two Final Fours of 2022 and 2025. No one ever went into a game against them worried about how to stop Jeremy Roach or Tyrese Proctor. Still, it was one of those crazy games where everything had to go right for one team and wrong for another in order for the team leading to lose. One less turnover or one less quick 3 by Houston that doesn’t go in and Duke holds on. I don’t see anyone stopping Walter Clayton Jr. in the final though. He was THE stud guard of the tournament.
I would take several over Peterson. I don’t know about you folks, but I am sick of “will he or won’t he play” “Daryn Peterson watch” every game this season. Dude is the biggest attention w**** in college basketball.
