Cyclones likely lose today and MSU has Michigan to end the year. Take care of business and we are a firm 3 seed, hopefully 2

Here is how I see us being Ranked going into the Dance in all scenarios minus maybe playing 4 games

| Regular Season | Big Ten Tourney | Final Record | NCAA Seed | Final AP Rank |

| 2-0 | Win B10 | 30-4 | 1 | #5 |

| 2-0 | 2-1 B10 | 29-5 | 1 | #7 |

| 2-0 | 1-1 B10 | 28-6 | 2 | #8-9 |

| 2-0 | 0-1 B10 | 27-6 | 3 | #10 |

| 1-1 | Win B10 | 29-5 | 1* | #7 |

| 1-1 | 2-1 B10 | 28-6 | 2 | #9 |

| 1-1 | 1-1 B10 | 27-6 | 3 | #10-11 |

| 1-1 | 0-1 B10 | 26-6 | 3/4 | #13-14 |

| 0-2 | Win B10 | 28-6 | 2 | #9 |

| 0-2 | 2-1 B10 | 27-7 | 3 | #11-12 |

| 0-2 | 1-1 B10 | 26-7 | 4 | #15 |

| 0-2 | 0-1 B10 | 25-7 | 4/5 | #16-17 |

*1-seed not guaranteed even with B10 title after 1-1 reg finish.

I truly believe the is more than one scenario in which we are a 1 seed

Really need to finish 2nd in the big ten. Do that and being 2-1 vs Illinois and Sparty and there's no reason at all to have us behind them in the seeding process, which should get us a #2.

Game is tonight at 10 central. West coast scheduling is a serious home field advantage.

To achieve a second seed Nebraska would have to win out and win two games in the tournament and play for the CCG on Sunday.

3 seeds are the likely scenario.
Sorry bud you are incorrect. The committee released their Top 16 on February 21th and we were 11th

1. Michigan
2. Duke
3. Arizona
4. Iowa State
5. UConn
6. Houston
7. Illinois
8. Purdue
9. Florida
10. Kansas
11. Nebraska
12. Gonzaga
13. Texas Tech
14. Michigan State
15. Vanderbilt
16. Virginia

Based on results results I am confident that Nebraska has moved ahead of Iowa State, Illinois, Purdue and Kansas. All 4 of those teams has lost twice since the release.

With that said Texas Tech and Michigan State have had better wins than Nebraska. Right now I am betting the current Committee Bracket looks like the following since the Feb 21st release

1. Duke - 0 losses
2. Michigan - 1 loss to Duke
3. Arizona - 0 losses
4. UConn - 0 losses
5. Houston - 1 loss to Arizona
6. Florida - 0 losses
7. Nebraska - 0 losses
8. Texas Tech - 0 losses
9. Michigan State - 0 losses
10. Iowa State - 2 losses
11. Illinois - 2 losses
12. Purdue - 2 losses
13. Gonzaga - 1 loss
14. Kansas - 2 losses
15. Alabama - 0 losses
16. Virginia - 1 loss to Duke

So if we are being real as long as we hold serve we are a 2 seed with and outside chance at a 1 seed. Nebraska goes 29-5 (2-0 and 2-1 like you say) they will have added 4 more quad 1 wins and a quad 1 loss making them...

Quad 1 - 12-5
Quad 2 - 6-0
Quad 3 - 5-0
Quad 4 - 6-0

According to the NET

That is a guaranteed lock 2 seed from where we currently (which is currently at worst #9 overall). Also you have to remember that all other teams besides the conference champions will be getting at least one more loss. Some without getting 4 more Quad 1 wins. Nebraska wins tonight they are locked in as a 3 seed. They beat Iowa they would probably need to win one in the tournament to lock a 2 seed. Make the championship we could be a 1 seed IMO

"As of Monday, our Strength of Record is 5 and our Wins Above Bubble is 9.

Last year, 8 teams had single digits for both of those metrics. Those teams were the eight 1 and 2 seeds. WAB and SOR were the two most accurate metrics when it came to seeding.

The 9 teams this year with single digits for both metrics are:

Duke 3/2
Michigan 1/1
Arizona 2/3
Florida 6/6
Houston 9/8
UConn 4/4
Michigan State 7/5
Nebraska 5/9
Alabama 8/7

We are closer to a 2 seed than a 4 seed. Keep winning and I do believe we control our own destiny to a 2 seed."
