Lamont just needs to clean up the streaks

3 of his 4 seasons here have been doomed by unfortunate and ill-timed losing streaks in conference play. His first season, we had an 8-game losing streak. Last year there was a very poorly timed 13-game losing streak. This year was a touch better with a 7-game losing streak.

If he could just tighten up there, we'd be in good shape. Those losing streaks are really the only thing holding us back.

Fans need to send in more money for MBB NIL and Paris needs a few more seasons to get his system fully in place. 2024 season was only two years ago, we know what he can do.

Some of those losses were in games where we led in the second half. You have to feel good about a team that is competitive later in the game. The parts are there and the coaching is proven. Time and NIL money are all that are needed for Paris to bring a MBB championship to Columbia.

Paris keeping his job is picking up a lot of steam recently. To me, it’s simply a buyout decision. Paris hasn’t shown any reason why he should be coaching here next season. 14 of 16 SEC schools would fire him, if not 15 of 16. We’re the only school that would keep him around. We’re not serious about basketball.

And don’t waste time throwing more NIL money at it. Just take the extra and give Beamer a fighting chance.
