Would they do the same for Vandy though, not putting them in with Texas?As nice as it would be to earn a 2 seed, if we're just strictly thinking big picture matchups, it would be better for us to be that last 3 seed in order to get into Texas' region.
They are the least daunting of the potential 1 seeds, however, there is zero path outside of winning the BTT for us to get that top 2 seed to end up in Texas' bracket.
More than likely, we will be in South Carolina's region, or also UConn if a few other teams ahead of us finish strong in their CT.
They won't put Iowa and UCLA in the same bracket 1-2.
If we go “par” and lose to UCLA in the title game, I could see us getting the 2 opposite Texas.
Dangerous thing though is the potential matchup with Michigan. If Michigan wins, recency bias is almost certainly going to push them ahead of us, and that could force us into UConn’s bracket as the last 2 or best 3.
