Me, too.Ranks in the Top 5 sporting events of all time for me. And I am no “spring chicken”! Best of all, I was there to see it in person.
There have been a number of great in person moments including the FB win over PSU in 1995 (we knew we had arrived), The last win at ND, IN BB the recent victories over Purdue, IL, and IN many of them in OT. Even last nights Martinelli last second shot to win ( followed by him signing his Bobble head) But that one really ranks up there near the topOne of the best live moments memories I have from NU.
I wasn't too far from you, then. I was at the top of that section behind the basket. Definitely a top-5 sporting event for me as well.I was there, slightly above the basket where Pardon scored. Taphorn threw the pass straight at us. Incredible.
And I cannot forget the 2000 game against Mich instant classic. First or second date with Therese (first NU game for her), Or the 2004 win against dOSU, Therese and I were standing in line before the game to get the free Goose Island beer with OSU fans behind me. There aren't so many 'Cat fans that we can afford to be too cavalier about mortality rate!Don't worry about it
