In my memory, Richmond Spiders. That game was an abomination and beyond an embarassment.
Iowa went up 67-62 with 4:30 left in the game.
They got outscored 9-2 the rest of the way (Stirtz lay up with 8 seconds to go).
Where was anyone?
They all should have to reimburse Iowa for the NIL they are getting.
This is squarely on Ben. Maryland another embarrassing loss. Very concerning about recruiting, teams thru the country are signing players every day. Love the kid from Washington and a redshirt that wasn’t good enough to be a reserve. Guards should be lining up for quality minutes nary a word. At Iowa a recruiting visit gets the fans as excited as a commiment itself. Outside world must be laughing at us getting kicked in the nuts time after time AFTER TIME.
Other than it being Stirtz's Senior Night, I would bet on Carver being a ghost town on Thursday night - aside from the likely large UM fan contingent.

It’s moments like that where I really question a few of our guys’ basketball IQ.

I'd go a bit farther back than that and say the 3/14 game vs NWSt.
Didn't the Hawks have two separate 15 to 20pt leads in that game and STILL let it pizz away at the very end??
I think to some degree we stopped trying. We were content to run clock and you're not going to get a good look if you stop running actions until there's 6 seconds on clock. Didn't care for it considering we were only up 5 and hadn't defended well

PSU only had 39 shots. Iowa had 57. Iowa won points-off-turnovers 27-11. Somehow, Iowa still blew it.
We are doing everything we can to get off the 8/9 line but it’s losing quad 3 games and not just win baby win.

We won nearly every measurable statistic of that game but shooting percentage. To a point it’s one of those games, but after the 4 minute mark the guys and the coach all acted like it was in the bag.

Not every transfer portal transaction is a win, but at Iowa, Coach can't afford too many more misses like Hausen going forward.

I doubt it. He wasn't any better before this game and yet people kept complaining about his lack of playing time. The whole thing is baffling to me.

Just didn't play well enough to win. With this roster, Iowa has to play well to win any game.

Iowa didn't lose because of one play by Howard. They lost because the whole team wasn't good enough to keep the game from coming down to one play

I blame Brian. He did so much damage to men's athletics it'll take years to fully recover.
