While true the east side was overrunning with visitor fans each of those games, what’s left of the faculty section is only section 21. One section. 100% true. I've gotten the same seats in Section 21 for the past 20 years. This year I confirmed with the ticket office, there is no longer a faculty section, any fan can purchase tickets in section 21. Also that section section is not totally faculty anymore. They started putting other people in it back when we were good and the ticket demand was high.
