If I pay for them I will do whatever I want with them is what I think about it, but I'm not the guy that's going to put visiting fans in the premium section.

This is pretty standard. But if you're buying Mississippi State football for the purpose of reselling them for profit, you might want to think about coming up with a better business model.
Most pro teams put out that same disclaimer. It doesn’t stop anyone.
Good for them, and I am glad they are making this part of the agreement.
I would always rather take the loss rather than sale to visiting team fanbase
.....and this is my own viewpoint, but STATE is my school, my home, my alma mater, and I just have no desire to sell my tickets to anyone that is not STATE.......the only exception would be close friends or family of another school using my tickets, and they would be read the riot act on how to act in MY seats

For single seats adjacent to season ticket holds who have two more season tickets, those single seats should be offered to adjacent seat holders for a steep discount.
Which on topic, I'm going to move 2 tickets to the west side. I thought about keeping 2 east side tickets just to help the school out... but I will get state fans first shot at them but... I guarantee I will have more crimson and Tigers offer than any maroons.

The funny thing with the disclaimer is they openly advertise their partnership with Seat Geek….to resale tickets.

Shows your ignorance and lack of attendance. During the Texas UT UGA and OM games the faculty sections was overrunning with opposing fans.
While true the east side was overrunning with visitor fans each of those games, what’s left of the faculty section is only section 21. One section. The problem is much bigger than just blaming faculty.
Look at the photos from those games and then realize the remnants of the faculty section is just one section.
Also that section section is not totally faculty anymore. They started putting other people in it back when we were good and the ticket demand was high.

100% true. I've gotten the same seats in Section 21 for the past 20 years. This year I confirmed with the ticket office, there is no longer a faculty section, any fan can purchase tickets in section 21. Faculty/staff just gets a discount on their first 2 tickets.
