There is a bit of that pop we've heard so much about, bases clearing double by Nicholson

off speed has looked mostly fine tbh, feel like they're just leaning on the fastball a lot and it's not playing up like it does when he's on...

This has ha

Very good point, his fastball also typically has limited in zone movement so when it's flat, it's really flat. When he can't locate and effectively use his off-speed it puts more strain on the heater and can come out flat.
Weather probably has a little to do with it, having to grip the baseball a little tighter. Last Friday night fastball had some arm side run to it and much more spin.

it won’t hurt him to have a little adversity

Ehh, the curveball has been 78 or so today last weekend it was 80-81. Has thrown 2 really nice change ups.

looking at movement more than velo tbh, wet hands and wet ball are going to depress velo. slider and change have had bite
The velo has a ton to do with spin on his curveball.. he’d rather throw it 3 mph faster with more spin than he would have a big break on it.

Very sloppy start by DeCaro. Good thing the offense has been generating runs.

Jason surrenders his first homer of the year to Adam Sullivan of Le Moyne—it is Sullivan's first homer of the year as well. Sullivan is a native of Syracuse and had only hit eight homers in his entire four year career with the Dolphins until today. He is now at 9.
