What sort of taint feels the need to state they had a "man card" in the first place? ;)
Well truth be told I pretty much turned it in the day I got married but sports gave me the illusion of still being a card carrying member of the masculine gender. That's been pretty much discarded at this point in the game. It didn't even require any type of operation or hormones. Just a really fun to watch women's basketball team. 🙃

Ive been like this for like 5 years now
Agreed, got sick of street ball and missed calls. Also 60 year old eyes couldn’t follow the speed of the game.

I enjoy the gals teamwork and ball movement, I don’t like the physical play and bully ball that is going on in the game today.

I think the more I watched the women, it made me realize how much I just didn’t care for Fran. I’ve been more interested in the men this year more than the last few years.

A couple years before he died the great John Wooden said he appreciated WBB more (and was often seen attending UCLA WBB games).

I only occasionally watched Iowa MBB after Garza graduated (thanks to McCaffery), never missed a WBB game. Hoped like hell McCollum would be the pick ….back on board now.

If the men ever went to back to back national championships, you'd be more invested.
Sure. I'd be more invested if they were just contenders. I'm still not sure though that it would exceed my interest in the women's game today. I think Caitlin Clark ruined me. I blame her.

I'm at the point where they are pretty equal. I think I'm slightly leaning toward the men because they have struggled more.

The golfing great, and often quotable, Lee Trevino said if you wanna improve your game you would do well by watching the LPGA players.

That's kind of an instruction thingy vs straight spectating but still an appreciation of their game. I've been watching some of the Asian women, very smooth swingers. Guess I'll have to turn in both my man and Caucasian cards ...
