Clown U is currently tied for 7th in the Big 12 standings.

Check this video out; Audi got her 22 points vs TCU on Feb 22nd but she continues to be a HUGE liability on defense.

I feel bad for Audi. She seems to be a nice girl. But I can't believe how overweight she looks. It appears to me she has gained 20 plus pounds this year. I don't understand why she has not been counseled to lose weight by her family, doctors, coaching staff. Doesn't ISU have a nutritionist that works with the team?
There will be life after BB and her's may not be a quality one.

I hate that we lost to them, but one play does not show she was exposed. However, I do think she is weak on D for sure.

AC seems like a very nice young lady and I'm sure she's had to deal with a whole lot of crap from opposing fans that's probably pretty cruel.

That said, she's a pretty one-dimensional player. Post up, get the ball, shove the defender back towards the basket, turn and make a bunny. She actually has a pretty nice mid-range shot with a high release but haven't seen that much at all this year. Other than that, doesn't defend well, doesn't run the floor, doesn't get after rebounds. She gets rebounds, but it's usually the ball just falling to her. It's surprising to see her rarely play help D down low, she usually just looks at what's happening instead of sliding over to defend, block, etc. Maybe that's their plan to keep her out of foul trouble, but you'd think she'd play better D.

It's interesting how male basketball players get criticized for being out of shape or weighing too much (Zion Williamson; Luka Dončić). Can't think of any college male basketball players atm who have been criticized for being too heavy. It seems like no one wants to go there publicly with Audi.

Would a WNBA team even take her in the 2nd round? And if they do, would she make a roster at her current size and lack of athleticism?

You know there's a totally different view point on body shaming women. Certainly no one in the W is going to come out with that..

I mean, I wouldn't. She has basically one offensive move, backing down/shoving into the defender, turning and shooting a bunny. At 6'3, I highly doubt that will work against WNBA bigs. But we'll see, someone may take her.

AC is a very good lady.
Her bulk is her edge, but maybe with glp regime she could just drop some bad weight and still have bulk edge. Never know, but not seeing her translate to wnba.

Will she enter and exit games at her own discretion like she does now if she gets drafted?

Megan G. and Luka G both had to get in shape (change their bodies) to handle the NBA/WNBA. Audi will get killed in Pros. She has no chance in the physical condition she is in right now. As Diana Taurasi said, There are grown women in this league. They would run her into the ground! Even "Old Lady" B Griner would eat her up. As much as I hate Reese, if Audi was guarding her. Reese would score 20 every game.
Nice young lady but NO CHANCE.

I enjoy seeing the Cyclones lose, but with their full line-up they're definitely better than whatever seed they will receive in the NCAAs. Someone is going to be annoyed they have to play them in the second round.

With all due respect, in Bracketology, they're an 8/9 seed.

They're getting the #1 seed on the #1 seed's home court in round 2.

One and done, at best.

Lolol.. Reese would still have to actually put the ball through the net, something she struggles with..

Clowns lose again; this time at home. Announced attendance (tickets sold & distributed) was just 9,686. Actual butts in the seats (scanned tickets) is always less.

What D? She stands "nearby" with her arms up and watches them go by. 😆

I don't think their HC has done Audi any favors in terms of trying to develop her more fully and expanding her game. She has basically one offensive move, and in many games against many lesser opponents/defenders, it works well. But against good teams/good defenders, it doesn't work. And it won't work in the WNBA. She doesn't defend well. Doesn't run the court. Doesn't crash the boards. These are all things their HC could've worked on with her but didn't. I'll take Ava over her as my big 100 times out of 100.

Clown U down the toilet.
Beginning of the year to now is like: night becoming day, like Ying becoming Yang,
like Ronald becoming Bozo…
So sad

They are projected as a 9 seed in the NCAA Tournament. IF they win the 1st round game, they will get destroyed by UConn/UCLA/South Carolina/Texas.

Her HC and her family/support group need to help her get her weight under control. Improve her diet and see if she can start losing at least 5 pounds a month or more. Someone her age playing at a D1 level school should be burning more than enough calories running the court.

I must have been out of the loop. I saw Kelsey Joens now plays for Villanova. When did this happen? No more Joens sisters at ISU?

Agreed. She will be lucky to see 45 years old. She will be riding a cart through Walmart in her 30’s at the rate she is going.

she will never burn the calories like she is now and have access to medical care, dietitians like she does now.

to call it out makes us racists fat shaming haters. All I see is wasted opportunity. Stop eating and play in the wnba.
