Would love to see Houston in our bracket.

Are you 80 yrs old? Just curious.

One simple question...Does Houston and UK play the same schedule?
You’re making this too easy 😂

Houston is a better team than UK overall, and Sampson gets his guys to play hard (most of the time). But I don't think UK has any physical issues guarding Cenac. Moreno could guard him fine, and has arguably been a more productive Big. Heck, Garrison could guard Cenac if he wouldn't get himself out of position and lost so frequently. And neither Oweh nor Aberdeen would struggle guarding Flemings. Now whether Chandler can guard either Sharp or Uzan effectively enough is a question I'm not sure about. But, I generally agree with the posters who say it's not a bad matchup for UK in regard to being paired with the higher ranked teams.
Moreno couldn’t guard Cenac, he would pull him out of the paint all game. That’s a terrible matchup.

I love how the "woe is we" "Sky is falling" crowd acts like we're the freaking Washington Generals and every decent team we play is the Lakers...."we'd lose by 40," "it would be over at halftime" wah wah wah. That act is getting so tired. This team at its best is capable of playing with anyone

No way. This team at its best can compete with UT and UNC type teams, perhaps we would beat a Michigan State at absolute peak performance in a rematch.

We would get crushed by Zona, Duke, Michigan, Iowa State, Gonzaga (again), etc

Even if we make the tournament, I cannot recall a March Madness I would have less interest in or one where I had less hope.

What point, that you’re a wannabe coach know- it -all who doesn’t really know jacksquat? Lol
“Lol” Go link some more stats from 1980 that prove you know nothing. Sometimes it’s better to say nothing and have people think you’re an idiot than to open your yap and prove it.

Lemme guess…You think Trent Noah is a player too?

I’ve owned you with facts on every post in this thread. I’m gonna do you a solid and throw you a bone. You can thank me later.

Hell, let me use your logic. UK is 17-10 and Houston is 25-3. Houston must be the best team.
UK's schedule is ranked 11th toughest. Houston's schedule is 19th. Obviously 23-5(not 25-3) vs. 18-10 is still the better record vs. schedule.

That will probably not be possible, because they will probably be in the NCAA tournament, not the NIT.

Worst case scenario, we’ll be in the play-in game like North Carilina last year but as of now, Lunardi currently has us as an 8 seed. We’ll dance.

Houston's offensive efficincy = 14th
UK offensive efficiency = 48th

But they can't score? lmao
The game isn’t played on KenPom. Houston got waxed by 13 by Kansas last night. The same Kansas who got obliterated by 16- at home- by Cincinnati. The same Cincinnati who got their asses handed to them tonight by a Texas Tech team who lost their best player -Toppin-. The game is played by athletes on a 94 x 50 court, not a computer.

I know a lot of the post are people trying to make the best of the situation we are in. The jokes are better than getting upset. However, there is a reasonable chance that we do not win another game this year. If that happens, I have a hard time seeing this team dancing. I hope I am wrong.

Why yes, I do. 😂

It’s crazy that .280 is considered good now when 15-20 years ago you weren’t in the good category unless you were .300 or better.

It blew my mind when I saw that only like 8 guys hit .300 last year or maybe the year before.

Houston would kill us.

I might be totally wrong but ISU is the top team I’d prefer. Solely because I don’t trust teams that kinda shoot to the top out of nowhere to do well in the tournament outside of the first game. They usually have to have been good and did decent in the tournament for several years before then if they’re actually going to make a run in March.

They don’t prioritize putting the ball in play anymore. Strikeouts are way up. Home run, walk or strikeout.

That’s great. Wed still get hammered

Houston is one of the best teams in the country. What on earth have we done this season for you to believe UK would fair well against them?

And to say they aren’t good on offense just isn’t even remotely accurate. They don’t shoot it well. Luckily for them offense is more than just that. They don’t turn it over and rebound like crazy meaning they have more shots to mitigate the poor shooting
