Is Pope going for triple digit whiffs on 5*s before he exits stage left? Simply giving the impression that you are recruiting the best available doesn’t matter if you can’t land your fair share.
Whiffed on every ’25 prospect, whiffed on every ’26 prospect, currently is whiffing on the ‘27 class… Why not get a head start whiffing on the ‘28 players now?

Kid is tough, but I'm not sure he's a great fit. He's more of a tweener guard than a true pg. Also, he's not a great shooter. Very long, very athletic, but would really need to become a better scorer. Also, he seems to be a great kid with a very involved dad. His older brother is being highly recruited in football.

These kids don’t even know what a forum like this is. This old asss argument that fans wanting to win is why recruits aren’t coming here is so dumb. Cal didn’t have a single problem getting recruits his first year or any year after. There are plenty of other schools with negative fans when they are losing that get recruits.

Are we really surprised that a guy who still watches wrestling as an adult also believes that message boards hurt recruiting?
Does he want to play only 24-30 minutes a game because of analytics? Does he enjoy losing 10-12 games every season? Does he like having to climb back from double digit deficits in almost every game against a decent team? If so this is the coaching staff for him
If he signs with the Cats there is as good of a chance it will be with Vandy’s coach at the helm in LEX as it is Pope will be at the helm.
