Still waiting for someone to get a Def Leppard/Rage Against the Machine Ava highlight video together. We are failing as a fanbase if this doesn't happen.
Her next two years will be full of 20+ 10+ double double box scores. She might play her way into a 2nd team AA this year.
That stats she put together for the last 3 games are amazing, capped by the in-your-face explosion in the second half against #6 Michigan. And of all the great stuff Ava did, the thing I respect most is her competitive spirit. The rougher Michigan played her, the tougher and better she played. Talent is always a great thing to have, but that extra heartbeat, as Hayden Fry used to call it, is what I appreciate most in any athlete in any sport. Ava has it, and that, to me, is what really sets her apart.
I wonder if playing against that big UCLA center was an eye opener for her. She can be that player.
