So your next will be in 2072 l, meanwhile Canada will win everything in between. as you commentator Eddie Olchyk said at end of regulation, US lucky to not be down 3 or 4 to one. What a great day for USA hockey . My son’s mites team had a game at Gaudreau rink at Hollydell ice arena . Had the iPad on the bench for 3rd and OT . Place erupted when Jack scored the golden goal. View attachment IMG_3813.jpeg
I much prefer to remember this for a hot goalie, Jack Hughes and especially bringing Johnny Gaudreau's jersey and KIDS onto the ice for the celebration than casting aspersions towards either country.

It was really only a 15 minute stretch from midway through the 2nd till about 5 minutes into the 3rd. A stretch in which Canada only scored one goal.
