Winslow got a bad deal in his at-bat. should have had a base on balls.
Good job to at least come back and tie. One more would’ve been nice as not sure they finish this one
I’ll take the series split and the experience for the new look lineup. Couldn’t stomach a series loss to ECU even if it’s only the second weekend and there’s a lot to like about this ball club.
In the delay, our hitters should get swings off on the Trajekt with any relievers they have left

Yeah I agree with that. We just need to throw strike one and work ahead. I don’t know if I agree with Matty for two innings though.
I like our pen’s chances any day, anytime against anyone in a tie game late.

I know I am in the minority here but i think this entire series with ECU is dumb and I think playing two middle week games is better. Today's weather is a perfect example of a traveling series in February having weather impacts and eliminating a double header yesterday.

The wind is gusting close to 35 MPH in Yadkin county. Temp is dropping like a rock as well. Hopefully they get this game done before this wind gets to Chapel Hill. It’s a doozy.
Guessing the only reason we didn’t go with a double header yesterday was due to not wanting to miss the revenue and gate $ for a well attended home game. Weather was great yesterday.
Our bullpen is the biggest question mark for me. We just fall behind in the count way too much. Id like to see Percival be available in the pen for the weekend. We need a lefty that can give us length. Chewy seems to be a situational lefty.
This is what I would do as well. Walker has been struggling lately, so probably a good idea to have him sit this one out and get ready for Tuesday.
Yeah, we were in a tough spot with that but it turned out to be just a lightly attended game in general since it’s 40 degrees and rainy. Bad luck that ECU got a nice day for their home game this year and we got a miserable day.
We are not throwing enough strikes period but it's early and the preseason was very limited so it's going take some time. Seagraves and Johnson need to step up.
