I’ll call South Carolina a win, but we will be lucky to win any of Vandy, Florida and A&M. That’s 18-13 and playing on Wednesday in the SECT as a terrible seed. If we lose that game, they’ll be 18-14. Probably not make the tournament, Not a single recruit signed for next year and a mass exodus expected. Mitch: “Mark Pope is our guy”.

We could have hired Cal in 07 but Mitch wouldn’t. Got Billy for 2 years then went and got Cal.
We could have hired Pearl last year but didn’t. Got Pope for 2 years. Go get Pearl now.

or SOMEONE. I want so badly for pope to be successful here, but I just don’t believe he will.

Yeah it’s wraps. Pope got his shiny corvette and then crashed it into a fvcking river. Got everyone hyped at his first press conference and then busted his nut all over himself. He’s cooked. We’re cooked.

If Pope wants to fix things, there will be a few guys who involuntarily transfer out.

Highly unrealistic scenario based on money, player ego, quality players in portal and ability to actually sign said quality players.
Our misses on the HS recruiting trail are magnified by the fact that the portal get weaker the more you are removed from the covid year and getting 5th year players like we did in Pope's first year

Popes just collecting a check. He knows mitch isn't gonna fire him, hell he have him an extension for making the sweet 16.

I’m going to guess and say that MM, Chandler, Noah, Jelly, Garrison, Lowe, Williams and Mo all return to UK. All role players, we need scorers for sure, at least 2 guys who can score.

Keep BG away from this basketball program after this season. He’s awful and his effort is pathetic.

I hope we keep Chandler, Moreno, Kam, and Jasper. Indifferent on Hawthorne (who knows what he’s got) Mo (he doesn’t fit anything Pope wants to do offensively). The rest I ether want gone or done care if they leave. Lowe can go play PG somewhere else next year he’s not very good.

We suck and our two best players will be out of eligibility. We have zero recruits coming in. We are now at the mercy of the mad scientist, who spent $22M to put this roster together, to get us a championship roster from the portal.

It will be worse than that. The only players I can see returning if Pope is coach are Chandler and Noah. And I’m starting to doubt Noah.

Maybe Garrison returns solely because no one else will pay him what Pope will.
