Well since you think we suck so bad, why are you here? Hopefully you won’t post when we’re hosting a Super again. It’s the 7th game of the year. Glauber and Holiday are freshmen, and will be VERY good. Just stop being so damn negative. LSU lost some real head scratchers last year, and look at what happened to them.
It’s going to take time for everything to come together, really good collection of talent but will take some time to gel together. Owen has to come around fist and foremost.
Hull is so bad man. He is absolutely atrocious at the plate. I get he draws walks, but other than that its so bad. You would think at some point, you would want your 3 hole hitter to be someone you don't just throw up there and pray they walk you. What a joke

To this point, he has not been a reliable arm…can’t argue with that given what he’s done in any game ever and he’s playing over guys like Seagraves and Johnson

You’re just so damn negative! Coastal dropped a game this week so some bottom dweller, and their fans didn’t freak out. They know baseball is a quirky sport. We lost our first two ACC series last year, one to sorry *** Stanford, and we did just fine the rest of the year, don’t you think? There’s no need to be so negative right now. This isn’t football.
Midweek games are not equivalent to weekend losses. Anyone who watched college baseball knows that. And this isn’t last year. I’m not “freaking out”. Your paragraphs long responses would suggest you’re more unsettled than anyone else here
Just a question, coming from someone who stopped playing baseball at 5 years old... it seemed like jenkins left A LOT of breaking balls hanging... why didn't we pound those? And when we did swing, it was down in counts and way over the top of the ball bouncing and stopping right in front of the plate.
We’ve never been a breaking ball hitting team….patience at the plate and rip the fastball has been our approach for years now. It’s why soft throwing lefties (and righties although less common) have given us problems
Jenkins is also just a really good pitcher. He’ll be their Saturday starter in the near future
not a huge surprise to drop one to ECU. Too many uncompetitive at bats, defense suspect/bad breaks to start the game. Not going to win many games like that
I’m unsettled? Ok then. I’m just sick of seeing such negative posts from people. It’s mostly you too. You don’t seem to pop up after wins.

Got to get Owen Hull going. He looks extremely uncomfortable at the plate. Kid is a player on defense and can really run and he hit a couple balls hard midweek, but he’s really struggling right now.
Still feeling things out I think and wouldn’t mind seeing some swings for Black, Sowers, Kellis and Hargett.
No sleep lost on our pitching. We over managed (in hindsight) in their big inning. We’re going to be very very good there as things settle.
