ECU came to play today. Folger to me as the #2 starter is probably the biggest question mark in the starting rotation. Not pitching well at all to start. Not fooling anyone. And 2 runs on a bunt … smh
Two runs scored on the squeeze. First easily, second one never slowed down and scored from 2nd
I envy those of you that are there because this broadcast is rough. I think they have 4 iPhone cameras set up around the park.
Folger looks like the exact same pitcher he’s been. Looks like a lot of false off-season hype
I really am thrilled to be able to watch at all and I'm sure Krause and co had to go through a significant amount of work to get even this barebones broadcast up... but man these bones sure are bare.
Until like 2 years ago we had a single, static, behind home plate camera for non-conference games so I’m not complaining about this
Pretty sure he just means that baseball is such a different game from game to game. Just because a team doesn’t score 4 runs in the first couple innings, or a pitcher struggles after a run rule, doesn’t mean they came out flat.
ECU has the upper hand in this one so far, UNC has some bodies running to the pen as ECU gets a leadoff base runner. Offense also could not come up with anything...still hitless
Since I can’t see anything, it sounds like Boaz is having a bit of a rough day. This ECU team got swept by Xavier and lost to Campbell, come on boys!

While he may not be having the outing he wants, Folger gets some great weak contact on his changeup to get the weak ground ball to short to escape the jam.

It’s still really early in the season. We did the same thing last year, and we ended up being the #1 team in the country at the end of the regular season. Relax. I’m a little more concerned with Folger. We have some big bats.
