listen I know we suck and had no chance winning the way we played, but it is beyond weird how Minnesota makes shot after shot against us every f***ing year. 100% they'll never do this again even against bottom B1G teams. Whatever.

Too many shots were just straight uncontested. That is on coaching as to defense against an undermanned team. There just is no excuse any longer this late in the season for how bad this team is even if we wanted to give Pikiell the benefit of the doubt that it takes a while to learn his defense.

It's amazing the difference in philosophies between these two coaches. One plays his top 5 over 30 mins. a game, the other everyone on the bench gets a participation trophy. And the excuse that defense takes a lot of energy is bullsh*t, we don't play any.
Pike played this game like he still had Caleb, Cliff, Paul, RHJ, and Geo on the roster. Did he think he would beat them with his great half court defensive team and just out defense the opponent in a half court rock fight of a game??? I have news for him, those players are not coming through the door anymore and are no longer here.
There is ZERO OFFENSIVE IDENTITY UNDER PIKE.

Defense was supposed to be a strength of Pikiell teams but the last two seasons have been embarrassing.
