I was told the ref threatened announcer before halftime was yelling at NC cheerleaders. Going off on parents and kids. He started ejecting people tried eject announcer. Then things started getting thrown and game was called. Police got involved and started escorting people out
I've seen a picture of the ref (my wife just sent to me). I am not surprised at all given who it is. Steroided up and thin skinned ≠ good referee. He's been a problem in the past and carries a (bad) rep as a referee. I'm pretty sure he's been banned before (at least from some conferences).

Anyone hearing anything on the North job? Is potential coach not passing everyone's test or is the school hung up at the moment with the girls basketball scandal...

If this is the guy, I bet he wears Affliction shirts at Buffalo Wild Wings while watching UFC. He's the guy that tells what all the fighters done wrong and what he would do different. Monster drinking dry wall punching Kyle. :ROFLMAO:
Friends, if I could ask a serious question, really, if anyone wouldn’t mind giving me an answer, and with all sincerity this is not a smart aleck question, but here goes: Growing up, my Mother or Father would fry chicken usually one day a week, mostly on Sunday.

Around 35-40 years ago I began seeing ads, mainly at sports bars then at restaurants about chicken wings. As time went on they became more and more popular. Now, there are even chain restaurants named for their wings.

Here is my question: WHAT IS THE APPEAL OF CHICKEN WINGS? A wing, as I know it is nothing but a few small, flimsy bones with skin stretched over it. There isn’t any meat on it. It’s like a back, it’s nothing but skin. The good pieces are thighs, drumsticks and breasts.
Surely, wings that are sold commercially has to mean something else. It can’t mean wings, literally.

It doesn’t matter, but I haven’t tried to eat a chicken wing since I was a child. I admit to being to being a pitiful and disgusting anachronism who is lost in the 21st century, and please know this, I have had every intention of trying restaurant chicken wings but it seems to slip my mind.
So if someone could find a few minutes, please set me straight on what chickens wings are by today’s definition.

WHAT IS THE APPEAL OF CHICKEN WINGS?

There ain’t one…..wings are for vegans.

A buffalo wing comes from a whole chicken wing, which is typically separated into three parts: the drumette (looks like a mini drumstick, meatiest), the flat or wingette (middle section with two bones), and the wing tip (pointy end, little meat, used for chicken stock.)

Preach! Lincolnton!

I’d have to eat 50 of ā€˜em!

Where’s ā€œBuffalo Thighsā€ at?

Just sump’em about Fridays at happy hour on NC Preps!

Ole Lincolnton…great post!🫵

Maiden Creek and AMD, Thank you, my friends. I have certainly learned something about chicken wings today. Sounds like it’s more of a snack than a meal.

I have to say, though, my father could prepare and fry chicken that was wonderful. I’m almost certain it was not healthy because he would roll it in a sauce made from butter and paprika and some other stuff which I wish I would’ve written down. Even the skin on the chicken wings and backs was crisp and tasty and nice to nibble on.

He could also make cakes from scratch. He had been trained as a cook by the state of North Carolina. If you’re wondering if he was a dietitian in a college or something, that would be no, but I’ll leave the part about being trained by the state to your imaginations, in which your first thought is probably correct. Anyway, he was a great cook. Wish I would’ve inherited his talent. Thanks again for the information on the chicken wings.

Kind of crazy though. Teams like Hough are allowed to pick up any and everyone.
Only thing about that is, all of the new players and their familes, actually moved into the district and this is from someone in the know. The school also has their own person, besides the district person, that does residential verification. They definitely dont want to forfeit any games. Nothing can ever be done if a family actually moves.

From my understanding he lives in Lincolnton School district but he used his one free transfer to go to North Lincoln. So in theory the county saying he doesn't have the ability to transfer anymore. Whether true or not I don't know

That’s exactly what I’ve heard.

And I don’t believe any news/rumors about transfers until I see them in uniform.
