This UK team is an enigma. Have been down on them all year and when I think they are done they surprise me. I think they are primed to drop 4 of the next 5. Will see if I’m surprised yet again. Tigers by 12.

I haven't looked for myself, but Jack Pilgrim said Auburn, at 14-11 (when he said it), is rated higher than us at 17-9 in the metrics. Yikes.
They dropped 4 spots below us on KenPom after losing to a bad Mississippi State team last night. The basic premise remains that this is one of those games that you hate when you’re jockeying for tournament seeding though. A road game against a team whose metrics are much better than their record, meaning it will be a tough game to win, and we probably won’t get much credit for it if we do.

They’ll be ready Saturday. They’re in desperation mode to make the tournament. Have a bad feeling we get smoked. That’s why that Georgia dud hurt so much.

If we lose Saturday, we'll be 17-10 and in real danger of potentially missing the tournament.

I was counting this one as a loss all along. But was counting UGA as a win. We need to go 3-3 these last 6 games to feel comfortable about getting a bid.

Stephen Pearl is not his father. Most could have predicted this way before this nepotism hiring arrangement. Now it is very clear. Pretty common in the history of athletics. Anyone remember the illustrious head coaching career of Pat Knight? There are a ton of other examples.

What’s more likely: Auburn continues their losing streak at home against struggling Kentucky team or Kentucky adds on to their losing streak with a home game against a desperate Auburn team?
