Good luck to all 4 wrestling teams at the 4a West team duals tonight. Pisgah, RS Central, Bandys, Maiden.
Same goes for Maiden girls basketball team that are vying for a shared conference championship with North Lincoln as they play Hickory tonight at Maidensā gym to close out their conference schedule.
I saw where Maidenās girls leapfrogged Pisgah in RPI for the West. Our girls are good and should make some noise but our conference is extremely weak this year on the girlsā side. When youāre āundefeatedā by RPI standards and you get jumped by a 4-loss TW Andrews you know things are weak.
As things stand, we would be the only top 10 seed to roll out of the conference this year and N. Henderson would be dead last in 5a West and East Henderson would be dead last in 4A west and Brevard wouldnāt qualify for 4A.

Our girls had the #1 seed last year and with RPI they are #3 this year, so the RPI has actually hurt the Cramer girls as far as seeding. Of course we will roll out our Michael Jordan and see how far she can carry us. Also she should break the NC girls all time scoring record during the playoffs this year. She is less that 200 points away.
Iāve never seen her play but definitely looks like a girl that does a lot of things well. Weāre not built that way at all, more a very complimentary group of girls with depth.
She is worth the price of admission. She has some help and their only loss is with our 6ā2ā center missing that game, but they will only go as far as she can take them.

Pisgah defeated Bandys in the 3rd round of duals. Iām not sure who won between Maiden and RSC and who Pisgah is currently up against.

I noticed that 3 of the top 4 girls scoring in NC this season are from Gaston county. I looked after you referenced āJordanā concerning Ms. Holland.
Cramer, Victory Christian and North Gaston all have a prolific scorer on their team.

All that might change now because maiden girls are undefeated North Lincoln had the forfeit a bunch of games for ineligible player
I think Maiden is the 1 seed, so you are good. North Lincoln is really good, our girls played them in the semis last year.
No idea if itās true or not but I heard the ineligible player didnāt play in all the games that are listed as forfeits on maxpreps. Maybe theyāll get some of those wins back. If they get in as a low seed itās gonna suck for whoever draws them first round.

North Lincoln's current RPI puts them at #49 in the state with one more game versus Bandys. Will a win move them to #48 or not is yet to be seen. He tried to throw out the student section, and a whole section of parents/fans.
They refused to leave so he called the game.
Heās a joke, and should never be able to step on a court again.
The bad thing, from what I was told isnāt wasnāt any beef between teams- it was him trying to boost his ego.
