I don't think anything will happen to Fred. I could see Iowa getting fined. The school is responsible for having security for the visiting team ina situation like this. I get the court storming....but to get in his face in the line is a bit much. Coming over the table like that you don't know what that kid is going to do. I'd probably react the same way

There's a myriad of ways you could do it. Fining the school doesn't do jack. Start fining the fans, suspend a Coach or players from your favorite team, whatever. Sky's the limit on what you COULD do. Put some teeth into the penalty and **** gets accomplished, quickly.
I don't get the vitriol over Fred Hoiberg. Other than being a Cyclone (he grew up in Ames for God's sake!), and now on another rival team in the Husker's, the guy has done nothing to earn scorn from anybody, IMO. Seems like he's always conducted himself very well.
And Fred isn't young anymore, but he was one hell of a multi- sport athlete in his day. I assure you he's not a "*****" (even for a basketball player
). That kid pulls that stuff at Hoiberg's residence he's gonna be calling Mommy & Daddy to see how good their medical insurance is. 
I'd take Fred Hoiberg as my Head Basketball Coach any day. Guy's a winner in my book, and always has been. Nebraska has always sucked in Basketball, and he has them in the Top Ten. Glad we beat them last night, and I think we'll get smashed in Lincoln, but give the guy some credit. He's earned it IMO.
