Love me some Whitey! His senior year and Luka's senior year team's were Fran's best teams. If Fran could've had an assistant coach for the defensive side, they would have had deep runs in the tourney.

100% agree. Thankful for Fran bringing us back from the abyss but you need guards and defense in March.
He did. Dolph interviewed him on the radio pregame. He sounds extremely happy. Basketball has taken him to a lot of amazing places. I did not realize how close he was with Gabe Olaseni who is playing in Turkey right now. Apparently Gabe and his wife just had their first. I don't know if the interview is available, but it was a good chat.
Aaaron White is a great example of Fran's ability to evaluate talent. He frequently found and offered talent early only to have some blue blood swoop in and steal the kid late in the process. White was one of the rare guys where teams didn't swoop in late. I remember Izzo commenting that he wished he had offered him.
White was one of my favorite players over the years. Glad to hear he's doing well!
It's easy to forget how good White was. His performance against Davidson.. "They can't guard me!"
One of my faves. Granted I wasn’t very good at basketball but his game is what I wanted mine to be like. Plus I feel like we look similar.
Cool. He really did seem to truly appreciate the warm wishes from so many.
More kids = better shot at having one of them be a high-level basketball player for his alma mater.
