If the Hawkeyes could, somehow, some way, pull off this upset, everything would suddenly look SO much better. At least I want to see the Hawkeyes from earlier in the season, the ones who were playing like their lives depended on every possession, who battled on defense, who fought on the boards, who hit the open shot, who made the smart pass. And I'd love to send that former Iowa player back to Lincoln wondering why he ever left Iowa City.

I need to see the passion and the energy and the swagger. C'mon, Hawkeyes, time for a signature win.

Iowa mens bball spreads are sorta irrelevant. Same spread as the Purdue game.

Similar to Purdue, I just don't think Iowa has enough offensive firepower in this one.

Post in thread '*****Iowa vs Maryland Game Thread*****' https://www.on3.com/boards/threads/iowa-vs-maryland-game-thread.8679255/post-181409252

Still trying to figure out why the linked post received a laughing emoji.

Including the Maryland game, I said Iowa would be favored in at least 4 of their remaining games. At that seems to be exactly what's playing out.

Favored vs Maryland
Currently Favored vs Nebraska
And will be favored vs OSU
and PSU.
Was a very slight dog vs Purdue

Do many hardcore Hawkeye fans who follow the team religiously bet on the hawks tonite?

I love the hawks but this seems very much like the PU set-up.
What am I missing?

Nebraska is 6-1 against the spread in Big Ten Road games this season. That one game where they didn't cover was at Rutgers who hit a 3 with 15 sec remaining to make it a 12 point game. Incredible +12.5 point cover considering they were down 19 when Nebraska put the scrubs in at the 2 minute mark.

Those Jersey boys know how to keep the locals happy.

Iowa in the meantime has failed to cover in 5 straight home games.

I don’t bet on games but am curious as to what Vegas “thinks”.

Plus it would be nice beating Sandfort
