I see on some NBA mock drafts that he’s considered to be a first round pick, if so, do you think he still may return or will he be a goner also along with Quaintance?

Is it bad that I read this post title and immediately got worried that he got hurt in practice or something?

Pat Riley watched him close up when he was at Rupp. I guarantee he's keeping track of how he's doing.

He is already better than I thought he would be his freshman year. He needs to get stronger and meaner, then you will see a lot more interest from the NBA. The NBA will be there, he’s still got a lot to learn and he’s extremely coachable and seems to be enjoying his freshman year here. I see him being here at least one more year, after that who knows, everyone is different.

He's 7' 250. He has skills but he would get eaten alive in the NBA at this stage. I think he needs to perfect some post moves. He has good hands and a decent touch.

Unless a team gives him a guarantee I think he'd be making a mistake to enter the draft this year. It's a really strong draft and not a lot of under the rim players without a 3 point shot go in the first round. I know some mocks have him as a first rounder but if I were him I'd only pay attention to NBA team representatives. I still see him as a borderline first rounder this year.

I would love for him to comeback for another year. I think he most definitely will test the waters.

I hope Pope knows sooner than later if the kid decides to leave. That's a big hole to fill.

He’s at least two years and a lot of work from ever getting a minute on an NBA court as of this moment. He rebounds with one hand most the time and lets others just take it from him if they’re close. I love the kid and he’s surprised me he’s as good as he is but he’s not in that category yet. The NBA wants centers who can score the ball down low, make good passes and shoot the three to open up the floor. It’s all about spacing and it’s four on five if he’s outside the three. Needs a ton of work on defense as well. He’s young and has a chance to be a great college center and help Kentucky win games for sure, but If he were to leave this year he’d be playing in the G league for years, get lost in the scuffle and play over seas his entire career in my opinion. If he stays here and works his butt off a couple more years on his outside shooting, getting a lot stronger inside game and getting better on defense and rebounding he has a chance. He definitely has potential and I’m pumped about him at Kentucky the next couple years, let’s just hope his handlers have his honest, best interest first before theirs. He has improved a lot this season and is making a huge impact as a freshman, can’t ask for much more right now.

Is he kin to Dan Marino? They're both real good athletes.

Moreno has been a high point for this team. I for one did not expect him to be this good this year.

Just as these players are unpredictable this season I believe the will he go/will he stay season will be just as unpredictable. We have 12 players who CAN come back. Whew, it's gonna be stressful this spring. I don't usually make predictions, but I'll say we get 6-8 of them back. Moreno is my top player I want to return.

Probably be a long wait on him to see if he stay in or gets out. Which will suck for Pope cause he wont know if he need a replacement from the portal. Like we did with OO last year.
