In the stadium with lots of family. 3 generations of us. Core memory.
This. Was with my mom, dad, and brother (all of us alumn) My dad survived a stroke just 8 months prior. I basically watched him drop dead in front of me.

we splurged on tickets and it was worth every penny. I hope we win a few in my life. But nothing will top this one.

At home, eyes glued to the tv, drunker than piss and mad that I couldn't sell my wife's boyfriend's prosthetic leg to be in Omaha.

My son and I along with my good buddy were there for every game before the finals. Even the lousy rain delay against the Whorns, and we stayed until the end of that one.

That was already a week or more, and I figured it was time to head back. In hindsight, what’s another grand or two after all that…. That trip solidified my sons commitment for being a dear ol’ State fan, and he’ll be a freshman there in August.

Would’ve been magical to have been there for the finals, but we watched the first half of game 3 from a restaurant and the second half from our couches at home. Even after we lost the first game, there was just no doubt to me we were gonna roll. What a season and what a CWS.

My wife, 5 yr old son, and I drove up there for the championship series. Watching the first game, I was seriously doubting my decision to go. Staying and watching the next two in person with my family was priceless. The pinnacle of my 40 yr state fandom. We’ll always have that memory.

Eating dinner in the Ocean Room at Kiawah with my wife and another couple (all 3 Ole Miss people) while watching the game on my phone and wearing a M over S polo.

It was my wife’s 40th birthday trip. I don’t think I spoke to anyone the entire meal.

I was furious because all I could think about was how much that national championship was hurting Mississippi state football and athletics
Ironically I remember seeing a think piece on Twitter from an om grad I believe about how our national championship does nothing for the state considering we were #50 in every category. Pretty funny to look back on

I was there for all three games. Got word the week before that I was getting a bonus from work and spent 100% of it on a four day trip to Omaha.

In Omaha taking a profile pic that stayed up for a long time and watching my son have an even better day than me.

At home watching with the wife. When Clark hit his bomb I looked at the wife and said "If ever a team and fan base deserved to w" and she cut me off and said "shut up you'll jinx it."

About 30 rows up from the 1st base plate with a small amount of tears of joy, wishing my parents had lived to see it.

In my living room. I wanted to be there so badly, but we had a one year old and it’s a busy time of the year work-wise for us. I encouraged some co-workers to go.

I remember posting that year about taking our son to a game that season and a lot of people tried to talk us out of it, but we went anyway and had a great time. I’m so glad we went.

There would have been 0 percent chance I would have attended that dinner.
