Is it just me or are our “State” players better than the transfers

Valincius pitched really well in the first game today
Teel will hit & Nunalee has been really good defensively
Nunnalee looks like a nice leadoff man, Valincius was pretty studly and I'm not worried about Teal.
The SC transfer pitcher looked good.

The “Dude Effect” in action. I’m sure it takes some getting used to for our guys too.
I hope it's the Dude Effect effecting BOC as well, because this looks like a very average ball club. We might just jell at the right time, but we are going to lose our fair share of games, maybe more than our fair share.

Agree, he looked solid. The non-hit hit batsman was ridiculous.
Fielding was good. I feel good about the hitters getting better and Ace looks awesome. Pitching has the most questions.
Other than a couple of bad outings pitching looked good overall. Hitting just never really clicked all weekend. But it will. It will.
Glad we went “all in” on baseball so we could have competitive games with Hoffstra
We have 20 plus years of data on Oak's teams. This team may or may not be as good as the preseason hype said. Gotta let the season play out. I do think he will win at State in a big way. Also, anyone that thinks a Lemonis team post '21 sweeps this weekend, I have some oceanfront property in Oktibbeha county for you. Even with the close games it never felt like State was in danger of losing. You don't play your best and sweep, I don't care who you're playing that's a good weekend.
These games don’t really matter a ton unless you lose one of them. A sweep is a sweep. It’s February 14th and we have 50-60 games left and plenty of talent.

I don’t traditionally watch baseball, but I enjoyed watching us win 3 games. My wife asked asked me why I was watching baseball? I said it was because we have maybe the best coach in the country and the baseball team is the better than our other teams so I thought I’d watch a winner.
We did not look impressive. I was honestly disappointed just a little but it’s early and I’ll give them the benefit of doubt. Plus you honestly don’t know how good Hofstra really is.
Everybody relax. It's never as good as it seems and it's never as bad as it seems. We've started out with teams like this in the past and clobbered them only to get our hopes up and then **** and fall back in it. We have some positives. We've got some good arms and defensively we didn't make an error that I can remember. I think the hitting will come along. Remember, pitching is usually ahead of hitting early on. I am a bit worried about catching. Milewski didn't look great. I thought James looked like the better of the two. Foster didn't look good either. He got behind hitters and paid for it but I'm no overly worried about him. Surprised we didn't see Pitzer. Ace is gonna Ace and Stallman looked good too.
