One more comment - best opening weekend attendance I have seen in a long time. Reasons - 1) good opening weekend opponent 2) High team expectations. 3). Thanks to IC - great coverage last season and preseason has helped get fans excited!!
Glad it was Winslow that hit the walk off piece. He’s filling some big shoes and even though he didn’t get a lot of hits this series, he stayed patient, saw a lot of pitches, and got the loudest hit of the series. And behind the plate he stayed focused on the main thing and did a fine job handling the pitching staff, especially for an opening series.
Great crowds this weekend all things considered. Slowly but surely, but you can feel the baseball fanbase growing each year since the LSU series.
Really enjoy the thorough coverage from IC. Just great and meaningful questions on a regular basis for coach and player interviews!
