Looking like South Stokes is front runner around here. Alleghany looks fairly tough within the MVC. I probably wouldnt sleep on Elkin either.
Based off what I've heard from expectations EW has really underperformed this year.
Looks like all roads lead to Queens Grant anyways.

I can agree with South Stokes, they always have a good squad every year. I’d say it would come down to stokes and queens in the west, Bishop is in the mix as well. Elkin seems to be picking up some stride in mvc since they’ve got back into their home gym, Alleghany is leading mvc and looking good I have them predicted to win mvc, their success comes from 4 key players that’s on an aau team, those 4 been together for years. Not sure what’s going on at Starmount or East I expected a lot more from them with the athletes their packing this year. Anyone know when the official 2A west brackets would be released?

Respectfully they would have no chance against Cherokee. Cherokee is one of the best 1A/2A girls basketball teams that's ever took the court in NC. A team capable of winning every division 1A through 8A, if not outright favored to do so.
