Frankly, I admit that you are the man when it comes to keen foresight into how programs might do in seasons to come, but I’m wondering if North Lincoln might be in a little better position to recover from being down, than are most teams in this area who might find themselves in the same predicament.
The reason I say this is because they’re the biggest school in Lincoln County and they draw from an area that grows. Got a feeling if the new coach can put together a good season or two his players aren’t going to be as likely to transfer.
Postscript: A new coach might like it there. It’s a nice area.
I would think East Lincoln would be largest school in county. But also yes on growth but unfortunately $400,000 homes don't usually bring in football players. Now baseball and soccer yeah thats families with more income. Football is more blue collar. And lastly seems like a lot of these newer homes are older northern people relocating south

The new development in maiden, villages of maiden are @ $325,000 for 2,368 sq ft

If those prices upset you, don't look in the eastern part of Gaston County unless you want to be shocked. People moving here in droves and prices escalating at the same rate.

A $400,000. home in many parts of eastern Lincoln County is a moderately priced home. They have neighborhoods down there that goes over the horizon. These “communities” looks like you could take Maiden and hide it in one of these sprawling things; and the residents are not predominantly elderly couples…Also believe you might be off if you’re thinking only baseball players and county club athletes comes with these large numbers.
The most recent number that I could find is East Lincoln has around 1,100 students and North has about 1,130. Were it not for a fast growing Lincoln Charter School they would be noticeably bigger.
Lincoln Charter is hurting a lot more than just those 2 schools. Want to take a guess what district their QB lives in? I’m sure you can feel my pain just reading this.
How well I know. You should see it’s Lincolnton campus. It looks like it has grown more every time I drive by it. Kind of like the Blob.

Maiden advanced by beating Burns and Newton Conover tonight.
North Henderson and Enka advanced in 5a duals from the mountains.
Pisgah wrestles tonight and if we take care of business, I would imagine 4A West regionals would be at RS Central, if they win or Maiden if someone else comes out of RS Central’s pool.

I think it is individuals this weekend at maiden. The duals will be next week. I think the schedules are off because of the snow in January
You are correct. I just confirmed from someone in the know. The regional individual event starts tonight at Maiden.
