I can't imagine voting for any of these people. Why can't the state produce one good Republican or Democratic candidate?

Reasonable folks in the middle don’t get elected anymore. They can’t win their own party’s nomination.

Any statewide or larger election pretty much in my lifetime (I'm old as *&^%^) has been about voting the lesser of evils... TMI out there on everyone, and everyone has some dirt that can be found these days, so the best pool of talent stays on the sideline for fear of embarrassment for something that happened in another era.
