- Pierce and Norfolk Catholic are resuming their rivalry
- Millard South and Omaha Westside will play each other in Week 9
- Millard South will host Lee's Summit North (Missouri) in Week 2 and travel to Cardinal Ritter Prep (St. Louis, MO) in week #4.
- Omaha Westside will host Lee's Summit High (Missouri) in week #2
- Omaha Central will play at Sioux Falls Lincoln (SD) in 2025. Omaha North will play Harrisburg (SD) in Week #7 and Omaha Westview will play Sioux Falls Jefferson (SD) in Week #6
- The "Emerging District" in Class B will be: Beatrice, Blair, Crete, Lexington and Platteview
- Bellevue West will open the season hosting Brandon Valley (SD) and Millard North will play a game against Sioux Falls Washington (SD)

I heard that Central Valley and Sandy Creek were going to be involved in this but it didn't work out with scheduling. That would have been a wild match up. Too bad it didn't work out.
Hopefully the 8 man Kickoff Classic will go on for many years.
This is super cool. Would love to see more of this to open the season in other classes.
On paper Class A looks really balanced overall. A lot of those rivalry games come back and a lot less blowougs. A few of the top tier schools have brutal schedules. Mid teir teams really benefited.
Week 5 Clarkson @ Leigh. That will be a wild atmosphere
Correct, there was an issue with kickoff time for the first game to try and fit 4 in one day. Would of been awesome to have CV and SC.
Definitely too bad - that is one of the elite match ups in all of 8 man football this year. Should be a crazy atmosphere week 4 at Sandy Creek.

I've only had time to look through the Class A schedules so far, but I have to say I really like what they've done. Credit to the schools (both for giving the NSAA solid perimeters to work with and for requesting some rivalry games that were outside of those limits) and to the NSAA personnel who executed the plan. I think this is a great first step toward improving Class A football in all tiers.

Off topic, but Clarkson is going to be the Yotes? What a horrible decision to not revive the Red Devil mascot IMO.
I haven't seen, is Leigh going with the Panther as the mascot?
As someone from Gering and now calls games in St. Paul driving from Kearney yeah thats gonna suck.
The right people wanted to go back to Red Devils but was shot down by a group of parents that didn't like "Devil" in the name (insert huge eye roll here) lol! They then came up with a list of mascots to vote on and Coyotes was the winner #GoYotes
It’s crazy that their aren’t other teams Kimball could go with. It’s 278 miles between Kimball and Alma. Maybe they should make Kimball D2 and Hi Line D1 and switch their districts.

BP schedule doesn’t actually look that tough. I’d wager they win more games than Kimball does

I’m just happy we don’t have to play North Platte (St. Pat’s). After playing them for the last several years, it’s a breath of fresh air.
Losing weibert will be a big loss for them. they lose some other seniors too. The last time they were in 11 man they were the doormat of the panhandle. Everyone walked all over them.
Nobody can put grill marks on lettuce like that guy. Every time I'm there his salad and fresh fruit is top notch!
Just 1 year before that 2-7 season they were 8-2. I guess we’ll see if graduation hits them THAT hard again. I doubt it though.
