We wrestled his kids hs team back in the day.. he sat right by the mat and was obnoxious as hell.

Attention seeking? He's a passionate fan attempting to get others into the match. He does and RU chant typically once a match and sometimes stands up to yell at the refs. Other than the big, red, stalling fist he sometimes brings, theres no props, bells, air horns or flamboyant dress. Never points to himself or does a look at me dance either. How did you arrive at your conclusion?

I have a friend of mine in law enforcement who went to high school with him at Pequanock.Said he is was ok guy, who was an average to below average athlete, but has done very well for himself, financially.Apparently there is this group of guys from that tоwn whо make fun оf him when pоsts pictures оf himself pretending tо ankle pick great wrestlers.They say things like "hоw much did Burkӏоw dоnate tо get that pic?"Again I wоuldnt knоw the guy if I fell оver him.
So they're jealous of his access it sounds like to me. There comes a point in life that what you did athletically 30 years doesn't matter anymore in the real world. Rutgers isn't asking him to run practice

Good job. You gave me nothing yet again. I watch him on the sidelines. He loves Rutgers wrestling and is passionate about the program. The horror of him pretending to ankle pic in a picture!!! Might be the most egregious attempt at gaining attention I have ever seen! I bet at the Princeton match Tim wears a tshirt with a picture of said ankle pic and holds a sign up high that says "look at me"!!
Edit: just noticed you said multiple great wrestlers and multiple ankle pic pictures? That elevates it ten fold.

Tim is a great guy as I am on the SKWC board with him. He is generous with his donations and loves the RU wrestling program. He deserves all the press they give him. Go RU
To the others point, all of the guys who make fun of him are very successful in their own right, and certainly not being mean spirited.They said he was a good guy, but definitely likes to be the center of attention and thinks he is cooler than he is.Again, I do not know this guy other than he seems like cool dude and definitely has school spirit.Are you him? I disagree from what I see and what others say here. One last time and I'll put it to rest at least for now. Other than being a passionate fan and by your accounts, has multiple pictures with great wrestlers faking ankle pucks, what in the bloody hell makes you think he is an attention seeker? And calling me defensive is hilarious. I questioned your comment with what I see at the matches and you come up with "average to below average athlete" who takes ankle pick pictures as your defense. Do you honestly decipher your own words and arguments?

Look I don't know the guy. You have problem with what's been said about him, take it up with the 1988 Pequanock alumni.I asked a friend of mine from the Pequanocks 1983 class, and his younger brother just happened to with him ( who was a 1988 graduate with this guy Tim).In a sort of mean spirited manner, he said he knew the guy pretty well, and that he was a " Goody two shoes, attention seeker, living vicariously through great wrestlers, who has aggravating teeth and smile". And to mention it one more time, I dont know this guy.I didnt even know his name until the article came out.I thought his name was Ed or Joe.
Goody Two Shoes was an insult back in the day (I grad in 83) but now i look at the saying as a compliment. Funny how times change a man
Knocking a visible supporter of the program who donates a significant amount of money to the program and contributes a ton to the atmosphere of the RAC is loony bin stuff
To summarize: "I dont know this guy" but I'll continue to use second hand info to bash him about an article lauding his commitment to the program. Got it. Where do you come up with this stuff? I'm just curious, in an era where most people here want to see Rutgers wrestling succeed and rise into higher echelons of the sport, you continually try and bring it down by degrading and denouncing peoples' accomplishments/involvement with the program? Other than being really douchey, it's very head scratching behavior coming from someone who reports as a past wrestler in the program and wants good things for it. Who and how many people pissed in your Cheerios from Rutgers?
Like , I said , go and look up the pequanock alumni and take it up with them. In a field of bald headed , guys , I couldn't pick him or name him if my life depended on it. I don't bash rutgers.I just express reality. We had a win over arguably , one of the worst minnesota squads in gopher history. Why does all the best talent leave the state? There's no tradition with our program. Let's hear your tune after big tens.
You don't like it.... Go on Amazon and get a pequanocl nineteen eighty eight alumni book, look up some names and argue with them. Just because you donate a ton of money to something doesn't mean you don't have character flaws. Quite a few of his former teammates and classmates seem to think so.
