When Smith comes back in, have to go right at him and try to get him in deeper foul trouble. That’s the only chance NU has in this one.

I’ve seen the Taliban possess better shooters than Berke and Garcia.
Just terrible execution on the offensive end. No hard cuts, no ball movement. They look like those watchable teams from Fred’s early seasons.
Nebraska needs to find a way to attack the basket and get to the line when 3's aren't falling to stay in the game.

Yeah they’re standing around way too much. So when anyone does try to drive, there’s a ton of help waiting. Move without the ball and try to open up the lane.
This is another game where it shows that to be elite you need size on the interior. This is why Michigan, Illinois and Purdue are so good. They have multiple big guys on their perimeter. We have lived successfully shooting the ball. But we have no one outside of Reink who is a decent rim protector.
I love this team. But I feel like as is the case many years, our lack of size is biting us in the ***.
But the first two losses didn’t bother me that much, because you felt like two good teams went at it and NU just came up short. This game has just been a s—- show.
There is no offensive movement in our offense tonight we’re standing around more than we normally do.
No real energy on either end. The few times NU has cut hard to the hoop, it’s worked. But that’s only happening about once every half hour.
Even the trainer was having trouble taping up Berke's knee.
That’s not a flagrant foul. But if someone did that to Smith or Loyer, rights would be read and charges would be filed.
Love the comeback, even if it falls short. Didn’t see that with past years’ teams.
