This is the answer. Too many people try to thread politics into it, but at the end of the day, the NFL is going to do whatever they deem to have the potential for the biggest payout: immediate and/or future.

I disagree. I think the NFL is perfectly willing to play politics. The blatant example I remember is threatening to withhold the superbowl from Dallas if a bill was passed to keep guys out of ladies bathrooms.

As for pointing at the previous administration? Yes, its suitable. It shows the blatant hypocrisy for people who never batted an eye at burying the truth when "their side" did it, and then complain when "the other side" actually starts releasing files.

I am an independent. I have always leaned more conservative than liberal but Trump is certainly pushing me in the other direction (i'm certainly not the only one).
I am not a fan of Clinton or Biden. I hope Clinton goes down if he committed crimes regarding Epstein. I do find it entertaining that Cromer is going after Clinton and it's backfiring.
If the previous administration committed crimes, go after them. I'm all for it. Pointing at the former administration when discussing the crimes of the current administration is short-sighted but certainly not surprising.

Me thinks you are making things up. I am 100% fine with the previous administration going down if they committed crimes. I don't care if Trump releases the files. It's out of his hands. The crimes committed (amongst others) is Krash Patels FBI manipulating the files prior to the DOJ getting involved.

I want everyone prosecuted who committed a crime. Simply being named in the files or having been a friend or guest of Epstein's is not a basis for prosecution. Epstein was a wealthy man who moved in top level circles. He had wealthy, powerful friends and associates, some of which likely engaged in illegal behavior. Simply being a friend or associate of Epstein's is not evidence of any wrongdoing.
All of that said, I am all for the prosecution of anyone, regardless of party, position or any other factor who is shown by actual evidence to have committed an illegal act.
I would hope thats a popular opinion. I have less faith though in our legal system, and our political system to which it is married.

No one is paying any attention any more. Media has moved on to the Guthrie woman. The coverage on her is laughable. FOX, CNN, you name it, have pretty much nothing but non stop coverage of a case with not one iota more information today than was known on Day 1.
I am fairly certain Trump hasn't got anything to worry about with Epstein. The dems had the files for years and if there had been anything solid in them about Trump, they would have brought it out and prosecuted him and locked him up.
My opinion is, nothing major is going to come of this. There will probably be a few small fish thrown in jail, but the career politicians and big money names will walk away like they always do. Hilary Clinton was/is guilty without a doubt of mishandling secret documents. They did nothing to her at all. Hell, the Clintons have killed more people than cancer and no one has even looked at any of the cases. Obama has never had a job in his life and he has somehow managed to become very wealthy and no one has asked how. Bernie Sanders had a net worth lower than most 35 year olds when he ran for president in 2016. He has never had a job other than being an elected official and, somehow, he got rich enough to own three nice homes in the past 8 years.
