The game itself was a bore. I thought about betting heavy on the Seahawks to cover, but didn’t. Maye looked awful - maybe he was hurt, or maybe the AFC was just that much worse than the NFC.

The sets for the halftime show were cool, but the music didn’t do much for me. Bad Bunny’s music just isn’t catchy and he’s an average stage performer at best.

Also, the commercials were lackluster. They couldn’t even get Disney interested in a Spider Man or Avengers trailer and they need those movies to succeed later this year 😂

In the best years, all three are good - this year, all three kinda sucked.

Was it just me?

There's always recency bias for how good or bad the game is. But last year the Eagles were up 24-0 at the half, too, and there was no drama left to be had late either.

The three before that were pretty entertaining. Probably about a 50/50 shot of a good game over the last 8 years or so...

(And I dunno, I liked the Dunkin' commercial even if it was goofy and pandering with its cameos.)

Pretty much nailed it. Have to admit I loved the gorgeous women dancers. Can't help myself.

Depends on the QB. I find the punch-ability of a QB's dumb face is proportional to my desire for 350 lb. linemen to sit on him. :p (I joke, of course.)

If you're a fan of the fair catch, that first half was pretty exciting.

I did enjoy that half-time show even though I don't really know much about BadBunny nor would probably listen to his music generally. I like the Latin jazz feel of some of the songs - anything with horns is cool! And the vignettes were very cool and very different from any other half time show I can remember. I actually am usually pretty bored by the halftime shows, not being a big fan of Top40 style music. The last one I remember enjoying was Prince.

I liked the Bad Bunny show. They should have saved it for when the Olympics come to Puerto Rico.

Seriously, the stage and choreography was impressive. The music was meh. Kendrick Lamar was much better.

Should have invited more mainstream artists that were big last year.

Teddy Swims, Samantha Carpenter, Jelly Roll, Chappelle Roan, - anyone would have been better (or two of them).

Some fans are griping that Metallica wasn’t the half-time artist given they’re from San Francisco.

I would’ve really enjoyed that.

Maye had not time. He was getting killed. One side of his OL had two rookies and they may have been OK during the season but in this game they were getting smoked, Reality is that after about 5 minutes , you knew what the outcome of the game would probably be (unless Pats were able to force a couple turnovers). Darnold played within himself and that was it

Saw some videos of what the stage actually looked like from the stands and I'm not impressed. The spectacle was tailored to the TV experience but those in the stands didn't seem to get the best view.



Not that I would've been any more excited to see Kid Rock.

The Patriots looked awful. Maye’s shoulder injury didn’t help, and Darnold also underperformed.

KW3 and Seattle’s defense dominated a boring, one sided game.

Yet, many defenses resort to the prevent defense , rush 3 and give QBs all day to find receivers.
