look on ebay today. your cards are now selling for $800 -$1200. when this college bb tour is done, a complete set graded PSA 10 will go for tens of thousands.

Are they actually selling for those prices though? They were listed that high last night but weren't selling

From what I can gather, they are going to be giving out the same card at every game. So, the question becomes—- with more supply available do prices drop? Or will ticket prices continue to increase, forcing high prices on the cards?

Ebay sales have already dropped a lot today with the increased supply from Gonzaga. Majority were selling in the $600 range last night and today most sales are now from $300-$500

I wonder if the card will be different and less value as more become available. They will given out at San Fran at Gonzaga tomorrow
I am clueless about these cards, but a kid who sat next to me in 114 who seemed to know them said the card at the MSU game will be different and even more coveted. Who knows?

According to the people we spoke to is that they are giving out the same card at every game leading up til the end(5 schools 3 games each)

Each time they distribute it will lower costs (supply/demand) so why they were paying more for them this past game to get the ROI

Again could have been BS but seemed legit

I wasn't at the first game, but sold my card at the 2nd game for $350.
Today, however, I didn't get offered more than $150 for the card. I took it
$500 profit for me.

The second game you could still get $300 pretty easily, maybe a bit more

Today they were looking to buy for 200, some offering a bit less

I didn't sell today, I want to keep at least one as a souvenir, maybe selling on line the other couple I have if I can get a decent amount

I was offered $200 per card outside the arena.

A lot of guys - and they are all guys - offering $150. I was happy to take $300 for our two. Ended up covering one of our 2 season tickets from the 3 games.
Might have been a mistake, but I have several I did not sell
Might try posting on the web for a higher price if others have an inflated listing

Will keep one for sure just because

I have 4 seats so of the 12 cards I kept 4 (one each for me and my sons to add to our Rutgers collection. The other 8 were sold on the spot (with diminishing payoff $400 x 2 game 1, $300 x 3 game 2, and $150 x 3 for game 3). A nice haul of $2,150 cash. If I sold all 12 at those prices the total haul would have been $3,400 … thanks RU as I never heard of OnePiece until this season.

I for one thought it was great that RU was included in this event. I liked the halftime show for game one. Got 400/ the first night, kept them from the second game, got 200/ for the third game. I have 4 season tickets and got enough, assuming I don't spend it, to pay half my season ticket bill.

While I might have some suggestions on the distribution and buyers process, I have to say thank you to RU for getting us included.

Hold on to them, as the people willing to sell them for these prices decrease and awareness and demand increase you might begin to see some crazy prices on these...what's the total supply of these cards? Or are there different sets that were distributed at each game? That would be even better lol

Demand for them could also disappear and they become worthless lol so selling one or two and holding a couple like I see many of you have done is the smart move well done Rutgers Chads..

How do you get them PSA graded? Haven’t done that since I was a kid and only remember doing it at baseball card shows

Sold all my tickets to the 3 games on SeatGeek (6 tickets in 200 Level) and got about $2,500 back after fees.

I don’t love selling my tickets to non RU fans but knowing they were going to a bunch of card collecting geeks I was fine with it lol.

Sounds like I could have gotten $4,000 -$5,000 for all the cards (18) if I made the drive collect and sell them but with a newborn, the awful weather and a pitiful team I just didn’t feel like making the long drive for any of these games.

Was debating hanging it up after this year after a nice run of season tickets (about 10 years) but recouping some money for those 3 games might keep me in for next season.

To get a card PSA graded, create an account on PSA's website, start a new online submission, select "Trading Cards," choose a service level based on your card's value, fill in card details, and then securely package and ship your sleeved/protected cards (using Card Savers) with the printed form to PSA. You can also use assisted drop-off services at card shows, hobby shops, or GameStop for easier submission. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Step-by-Step Online Submission
This video provides a quick overview of the online submission process:
  1. Create Account & Start Submission: Go to psacard.com, create an account, and start a new submission in the online submission center. [1, 3]
  2. Select Service: Choose "Trading Cards," then "Grading." Select a service level (e.g., Value, Standard) based on your card's estimated value, checking recent sales on eBay for reference. [1, 3]
  3. Enter Card Details: Input card info like name, set, and set number, using the PSA database or adding manually if needed. [2]
  4. Prepare Your Cards:
    • Place each card in a penny sleeve, then into a semi-rigid Card Saver or top loader. [1, 4, 6]
    • Pack them securely between cardboard, wrapped in bubble wrap, and add the printed submission form and shipping label. [1, 4]
  5. Ship: Ship the package to the address provided by PSA. [1, 4]
Easier Submission Options
This video demonstrates the mobile app submission method:
  • Card Shows: Drop off cards at PSA booths at major shows for direct submission. [5, 7]
  • Hobby Shops: Some local stores offer group submissions for a fee. [5]
  • GameStop: Offers in-store drop-off for a fee, following a similar process. [6]
Before You Submit
  • Check Centering: Look for off-centering (image shifted within borders) as it significantly impacts the grade. [8]
  • Use the App: The PSA mobile app streamlines scanning and submission on your phone. [9, 10]

I sold mine on eBay. The pics I have before show clean card. Hong Kong buyer saying he received a scratched card. But no damage to the packaging. Purely a he said she said and ChatGPT says eBay will side with him. Anyone have an experience like this. Hey it’s all found money but I don’t like to get taken either. TIA

That's unfortunate. The guy realizes he paid too much and is trying to screw you. I was really surprised to see the on-line sales drop from $600+ to under $300. I guess the number of people that "had to have it" is dropping.

It's a bit of a nightmare, but I had a similar experience where I put a laptop on ebay and the winning bid came from a woman in Saipan, an island in the Phillipines Sea. It shipped by boat and took like 3 months to reach her. In the meantime, she wanted her money back, saying she never got it, although I had proof that it was shipped including the tracking number. If I had done nothing, eBay would have voided the sale and she would have had a free laptop. I had to put a lot of effort into calling eBay and defending myself to keep the money. Eventually she did acknowledge she received it, but from that point forward, when I set up an auction, I say no international sales. It potentially hurts the best sales price but definitely saves some headache.

I was listening to WFAN coming into work today, and a caller told Boomer and Gio that he was a St. Johns season ticket holder. To mess with the One-Piece scalpers, when he would be approached, he'd tell the scalper he didn't know what the card was was and tossed into the garbage can. He would point out the can and watch these guys run to it and go through the garbage looking for cards that weren't there.

Kinda mean but also kinda funny, lol.
