So my triplets are 9 now and my wife started an in-home day care...

Just wondering but, is now the time I should buy a few guns for the home? I saw some good deals at the store this weekend.

Also, I do not have a safe nor do I plan on getting one, I will just hide the guns under the bed.

Id get a 20 gauge pump shotgun for each kid, a 12 gauge assault for you and get the wife a double barrel coach shotty, that should be sufficient to take on a home invader. Remember, always have a plan on what to do. If you fail to plan you plan to fail.

first order is educate your triplets and gun safety basically dont mess with a gun or in my day you got your *** beat. What are you looking for? Something for home defense? My choice is a 12 gauge with double 00 buckshot. hand gun most people like 9 mm

need to make sure you are loaded with hollow points for fast expansion with 9mm, you don't want any bullets traveling through walls hitting innocent people.

See, that is EXACTLY what the 16 year old kid working behind the gun counter at Cabalas said.

I was prolly no older than 10?? When my uncles started taking me with them to road hunt in Kansas. Remember it like it was yesterday.. thinkin I was all badass with my bolt action.410 gauge that held 4 shells. Of course we kept all the guns by our sides and loaded as we drove around, they were usually drunk. If the hunting was slow we'd just set up their empty beer cans or wiskey bottles.

...at one time, 153rd street was as far west as Omaha went and we lived on it. Cornfields till lincoln. Dad and I would shoot rifles and shotguns off the back deck where a middle school is now.

...love guns and all the memories :)

Snack drawer is a great place to hide guns. That way you know where they are, and can check on them multiple times a day.
THIS is a good idea!

And, from what I understand all I have to do is tell my kids "Hey, kids, don't touch these guns or I will beat you" and then I don't have to worry about them touching the guns, right?
