Does the streak we are on help any with recruitng ? Stokes , Collins etc ?

He couldn't sign recruits with 22 mil and no restrictions. Don't think that is going to change with even more obstacles.
I don't know, but it certainly can't hurt. Every big win gives Pope more and more credibility. I think landing a big time recruit would also lead to a snowball effect with other recruits as well, especially if there are legitimate JMI concerns.
With all of the negative press JMI is getting, they want UK to land somebody as well. At least you would think so.

It sure would be nice to see Stokes replace Oweh for next season.
I would doubt it for now. We have so many guys with eligibility to return that it would be tricky for any incoming freshman who wants a guaranteed role other than a Stokes type that always would have a role. I bet once the roster situation is more settled in terms of returnees, you start to see Pope go all-in on specific guys to fill in around what we have. Until then, hard to commit somewhere if you don’t know what your role will be.

JMI wasn’t around last year, what recruit outside of the state did we sign? Now I also think the JMI deal is a problem but not the sole problem.
I think they've entirely punted with recruiting and hope fans don't get upset or ask questions for why the university of Kentucky basketball will have 0 recruits
