#1 I had no idea who Bad Bunny was until he was announced as the Halftime Show so if he’s the biggest artist in the world I’m way behind times

#2 no I won’t watch some dude swearing a dress singing in Spanish that told Americans to learn his language when there are no Spanish speaking NFL teams represented or even exist

#3 the NFL has royally and now regularly screwed up the NFL halftime show. The NFL has become a good product and could do better. This is an embarrassment and no way I watch.

OP- why did you not have a choice for why people really not watching? Don’t shy away if you are going to ask.

Like, no I am not watching an American-hating, mentally ill ***** spew his propaganda
I mean this is a reasonable option and should’ve been included in the choices right? This is one of the pinnacles of American sports and entertainment and they’ve chosen a person that doesn’t represent America, or at the very least doesn’t seem to represent most of them. There’s a reason this is even a question.

I'll pay as much attention to the SB halftime show this evening as I typically do which is little to none.

It is disappointing to me that the producers of these type of events seem so intent on being provocative over opting for a broad appeal crowd pleaser. But controversy = ratings as people predictably flip out over nothing.

I don’t care that you like/live LGBTQ but don’t shove in my face. At least that lifestyle is only transferable to one place after death.

Who is shoving something in your face? Feel however you want, I’ve just never personally seen someone who has a different lifestyle, appearance, color, sexuality than me and felt in any way like it impacted my life even for a second.

As it pertains to halftime show…I don’t ever watch them. Will be restocking my plate and beverage and placing some second half bets. Can’t recall ever having any serious thoughts about a half time musical performer though.

Whats next, people screwing animals to get the “Wow” factor?

And of course it impacts your life if your tax dollars fund immoral programs/charities, etc. More importantly, it impacts a generation of people that have become numb to what is right and wrong.

again do whatever makes you happy. I have never seen Bad Bunny ….is beastiality part of his show? On a more serious note…Is his performance much different than other flamboyant or LGBTQ artists? There’s been a lot of eccentric and over the top performers in all music genres for decades. I guess we’ll disagree on the impact in general. I’ve got a busy life with my wife and kids and work. The lives of other adults who live very differently than I do simply don’t impact or bother me. Unless they’re criminals, pedo’s, con artists / fraudsters etc.

I am sort of curious though ….what are your thoughts on Kid Rock having written and sang about young girls and statutory rape? Big deal? No big deal?

I will watch because it’s too much trouble to change the channel and get back to it over something so meaningless.

I’m also a bit of a contrarian, so I will watch just because so many old, butthurt dudes tell me I shouldn’t.

Don’t know crap about Bad Bunny, but I will watch to see if I like the show he does or not. Just like I have for every halftime show of my lifetime.

Bad Bunny is one of the top 5 most streamed artists in the US and regularly trades in the top 3 globally as well. Boomer/GenX whites and who only listen to classic rock and corporate country slop cannot comprehend that America is much much bigger than their cul de sac.
His accolades include six Grammy Awards, seventeen Latin Grammy Awards, eight BillboardMusic Awards, and thirteen Lo Nuestro Awards. He was crowned Artist of the Year by Billboard in 2022 and 2025. He was the most-streamed artist on Spotify from 2020 to 2022 and 2025; he was second in 2023 and third in 2024. Outside of music, he occasionally performs in professional wrestling. Bad Bunny began making appearances on WWEprogramming in 2021 and made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37. He is a one-time WWE 24/7 Champion and has wrestled at the 2022 Royal Rumble and the 2023 Backlash pay-per-viewevents. Bad Bunny has also starred in multiple films, including Bullet Train (2022), Cassandro (2023), Caught Stealing (2025), and Happy Gilmore 2(2025).
This isn’t some random blue haired industry plant. Dude is legitimately one of the biggest names on the planet right now in entertainment across multiple mediums- music, movies, TV, Hell he’s even in pro wrestling - and has been for the better part of a decade.

Part of aging gracefully is realizing that not everything is for you. It’s ok to not really “get it”. If you’re 45-65, then your parents and grandparents probably thought Queen and Michael Jackson were gibberish and don’t even get them started on Run DMC or early 90’s west coast hip hop.

I really hope that more and more Americans are waking up to and getting tired of this constant culture war ******** where anyone else enjoying anything that 50 year old Baptist dudes don’t like has to be indicative of some gay satanic commie psyop. No one’s taking your Luke Bryan from you, you can calm down.

Are you going to watch the Super Bowl already? Yes.

Are most 13-25 year old girls? Not as much.

Are they also trying to expand their viewership internationally?

So you bring in the most popular artist in the world. Pretty good business practice, if you ask me.
