8-3 is something that I don't think any of us anticipated after we got waxed by Alabama.

Pope bought himself another year to prove himself. He's got to recruit way better if he wants to make it here. Stokes coming to Kentucky would go a long way into showing fans that he can get it done.

Going to be a tall order. If we thought we struggled to rebound tonight, Florida is an even better rebounding team than Tennessee and much better at finishing their putback attempts.

It is an impressive turnaround for our team to even be in this position after the way our season started though. I’m proud of how hard they’ve kept playing despite the injuries and early blowouts.

Yeah, Florida is a problem. We might have to ditch the 3 guard lineup for a while since I can't see OO, CC, or DA guarding Haugh successfully.

Its an incredible opportunity for this team. Looking at it objectively and not as a huge Cats fan, this seems like a terrible matchup for us on the road, a very tough game for us to win. But you just can't bet against these kids. They win the Florida game and they will become one of my favorites in the last decade.

All the Pope haters are not enjoying this. Fuq them all.
Definitely don’t hate Mark, really like the guy. Haven’t though thes the one but I like him.

We’ll see. If he can figure out recruiting and learn from some things I might move into wait and see. Don’t mind being wrong.

Never, ever, did I see this team even having a small change at winning the league. And here they are with a short.

Florida is playing great ball at the moment. If we can remain somewhat competitive at their place and just fight our *** off even if we lose thats all you can ask. Just don’t let any to see the team lay down in another 30 point beating.

Probably as a ranked team. I don't like the idea of playing UF on the road though. Much better team than UT.

Big Blue has a shot at first place in the SEC next Saturday. Ohhh what a sweet feeling sweeping the Vols!
Florida is a bad matchup for us. I honestly don't know how we are going to keep it close but this team has a lot of grit and determination. I won't be crushed if we lose to Florida at Florida. A win there would be our biggest win of the year, IMO.

Don't look now but this team is as good as any in the country playing like this
I think its fair to say I am as glass half full as anyone on this board when it comes to the Cats. We have a scrappy bunch of kids with a lot of heart. But we are not close to a few of the best teams in the country. There are some squads I have seen that we simply won't be able to match up with. And thats ok. It isn't "embarrassing to the program".
We do have an opportunity to have an amazing team next season. Keep as many of the kids we have coming back and add a couple of big time scorers and shooters and we could be dynamite. If that means HS kids, portal, overseas, reclass, G league, I don't care. But the foundation is there. In the meantime, I am gonna enjoy this gutty bunch

We have a tough end to the season and it starts against UF on Saturday. We will likely be double digit underdogs in that game.

We also will likely be underdogs against Vandy and UF in Rupp. We will be underdogs on the road against AU and TAMU. If we were to win the conference or finish in the top 2, it would take a momentous effort. Going 4-3 would be a solid finish.

I don't fear any team right now. Yeah there's a couple who are less than ideal matchups. But that's very very few. Do you fear Houston? Illinois? UNC? Iowa State? Only a couple I can think of that I'd be worried about. UConn maybe. Zona definitely. Florida definitely. But that's the list.

Yeah I think Houston is a nightmare matchup for us, as would be Duke or Michigan. UConn. Thats not to say we couldn't beat them, but they match up very difficult for us

I feel the same. Like the guy, want him to succeed but there are major red flags in recruiting.

I agree, but steal TAMU and AU games(AU is definitely winnable), win home court. I’d take 4-3 right now but I’d prefer 5-2.
