Tremendous victory! Could not be happier for the team. Tremendous performances from savvy vets. Hopefully they can carry this over to the postseason.
Did not think it was possible, especially without Olivieri but thankfully proved many of us wrong.

Where is the get rid of Goody crowd at ? Hello anyone home
This can be debated another time. Not the night to talk about it. Will just relish in the win. 1 win or loss does not make or break a program, the entire resume does.

Just enjoying this victory and hoping it carries over for several of these guys to the postseason.

And this is not a phony post, but I really have a new found respect for Goody. The man seriously cares about his wrestlers, he genuinely gets pumped to see our guys win and his interaction with his wfe says everything about what a good man he really is. I dont know about others, but Im not bashing on the man anymore, regardless of the future outcomes. Im a former RU wrestler and if anything, I should fight for my alma mater, regardless of the good or bad. Also, much props to the rest of the staff, especially Mikey Labriola. The man is always fired up and has taken a seemingly above average Remy Cotton and turned him into a possible round of 12er or AA candidate.Great win Coach Goodale.

Just watched replay of the Remy Cotton fall and that Goody reaction and celebration after it was epic…that tells you all you need to know …he does his best with the talent he has and the talent we have is only as good as the money provided to the school to acquire …sad to say that but in today’s game that’s a fact …I will cheer for what ever RU throws out there as long as the effort is there …tonite the effort from coaches and wrestlers was there as it always seems to be and we got this historic win ..way to go RU

About the money…and the “pony up more $” some programs have deep pockets but it’s also about maximizing the most out of the money/resources you do have.. RU just landed Knox so it’s not like we are poor and in the past, when programs with less funds/resources have done better than us thats when it’s frustrating. Hopefully that made sense.. Great W over Minny, hopefully can build on that momentum.

Sorry, but he has a responsibility to this as well. People are not donating NIL to Rutgers University, they're donating NIL to a Coach and Team, there has to be a belief and some salesmanship here. Revenue share which is separate from NIL, the distributions are pretty much the same across the board at P4 schools. So that's nondebatable.

Zinn is here to put in the infrastructure and help facilitate NIL money, a Coach has a responsibility to this as well. The Coach has to sell himself and team to potential donors and businesses to obtain those dollars from them. You seem to think NIL money gets put into a pot and divided up. That's not how it works. NIL fundraising has now become a part of a Head Coach's job.

Agreed, most revenue share goes to football and men’s basketball. If wrestling gets anything it’s Pnut’s in comparison to what Ohio state, Penn state, Iowa, Michigan, Oklahoma state and probably even Nebraska and VT. Hopefully Zinn recognizes that we have a great wrestling program and helps us get more money through revenue share and or NIL.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt for saying this, takes a lot to admit that so props to you. I’ll also believe it when I see it.

Well after losses I see the we need a change posts so I figured I would post seeing if those people had anything to say now. Rutgers is on track to qualify 10 guys to NCAAs seems like a solid resume this year

Cael took more scholarships and Iowa has rev share. Nebraska, Ohio st and Michigan wrestling don't receive rev share

I really don't need your approval , but let's bury the hatchet. One way or another, we are all scarlet knights. whether, it's a fan ,a coach, a donor or former wrestlers like me.The bottom line is , we are all part of this rutgers family.
