Yea, I’m a big fan of Moreno but he’s proven he’s too weak for SEC bigs. NBA bigs would eat him alive.
People say stuff like this all the time about previous players of ours whether it be tyler herro, pj Washington, Immanuel quickly, reed sheppard and the list goes on and on. Moreno has played well all through the season he has clearly showed he gas a lot of potential at the next level according to the guys who's jobs are to scout players for their respective teams.

And by the way, does anyone really still take KSR seriously? Aren’t they at the SuperBowl, instead of the huge UK/Tennessee game? How seriously can you take them?

He would've left but got a much bigger bag from Pope, which is kind of why this roster cost $22M.
Yeah but that's a tool coaches have to retain players nowadays. It's not like Garrison didn't stay, he did. If it works it works. My point is let's wait until April when these decisions are made before really caring, because even if it's due to money these decisions can change and lead to guys staying.

Absolutely, that would not be a good look at all! Why not play him?
Should be playing him anyway imo, that is, if he’s good enough to contribute in a meaningful way. I’ve read several times that he looks great in practice. That would sting if he left and he was paid this year to be a practice guy. Plus, he most likely won’t hang in college long enough to need a redshirt, having NBA aspirations.

I hope most of the guys come back. It's probably our best chance of being good. If we have a lot of returners on the roster, then next season will probably determine Pope's fate here(assuming we don't make a run this year).

View attachment 1178573Looks like we are gonna need everyone we can get, starting with freshman, and will likely have a new team again
We need to consolidate talent into 1 player instead of having 2 opposite role players. Instead of bringing back Andrija for offense and Mo D for defense/rebounding, you bring in 1 elite forward who can do both.

Braydon Hawthorne leaving would piss me off more than the JQ situation.

I’m not buying that at all right now.
Would be darkly hilarious if Hawthorne wasn’t good enough to play this year, but also somehow good enough to get drafted. Basically all the underclassmen with professional aspirations go through some NBA workouts, I assume that’s all Hawthorne has in mind.

I also chuckled at the description of Hawthorne as “more of a project than a completed piece.” Yeah, I’ll say!

Is that supposed to be KSR official or is that just some dude who posted on the KSR board? Jasper’s just not built to be a PG so it’s a little odd reading his outlook broken down that way if it’s supposed to be official. (Not to mention Chandler is not “leaning” anywhere—1000% coming back.)
What happens if BYU throws some money at Chandler and gives him a chance to return home? Anything can happen.

Lowe is good enough. Gracious. If he has a full compliment of good players you will see how good he is. Some of you all know nothing.
Nope! Not going back 20+ years, but name a UK point guard in the last 20 that Lowe is better than…

Good luck👍🏼

If Garrison starts playing more games like he did Wed, I would love to have him back

It will depend on what he wants to do. Is he ready no, but most who go are not ready year 1. You can't teach 7ft and he has some huge upside which will get him drafted if he wants to go. The problem for him is this draft is loaded and it will push him down to low first round at best and most likely he would would be a second round guy. This is the reason i think he might test the draft just to get feedback and then he will come back at least for another year. The money he could get from moving into the top 10 or 12 vs second round plus what he will get in NIL money will be enough to get him to return I think.
